Sturdy exerciser
I bought this for someone who is 94 years young and doesn't have the ability to get around much. This gives her a chance to those legs moving. It's sturdy and easy to use.

cheap and effective.
does what it’s supposed to. i made it better when i removed the straps and used a lil wd40 to stop the squeaky noise it started making after 10k rotations. some minor annoying things is that there isn’t a distance counter. and the resistance tensioner doesn’t really work great. i cant get it to have much resistance even at the tightest setting. it’s just easy light pedaling. also it didn’t perfectly sit level on my hard wood floor. it used to have an annoying wobble but i’ve been able to fix this by using electrical tape and wrapping a few of the legs until it was stable and level. but it’s worked well under my desk. i’m glad i’ve been able to get some activity and blood flowing while sitting at my desk for long durations. make sure it’s set up in front of a wall or something to prop up against otherwise it’s going to just pedal away from you. won’t be any good if it’s not able to prop up against something extra sturdy like a wall. it’s the cheapest option on the market and you’re getting what you pay for. it’s not the best but it can be worth it if you make it work like i have.oh and another thing is the pedals have an opening where you can feel the metal washers or clips through the slit of the pedals if you’re using this with no shoes on. it has an uncomfortable feeling that feels like it could cut your feet. i fixed this by wrapping electrical tape around the pedal covering the exposed slits.basically there are a bunch of quirks that you can fix and make better with easy small maintenance and mods.the only thing i can’t do is add a distance counter to the digital display. they should replace count with distance. i want to know what the count conversion rate is. how many rotations is equivalent to 10000 steps.overall with my ability to make it work i find this purchase worth its cheap price. if you’re not willing to do things to make it work then avoid this item. try another option that costs a little more.

Love it! Excellent price; sturdy construction; large, conveniently-placed, easy to read display.
I bought this product so I could supplement the exercises I did in Pulmonary Rehab after spending 5 weeks in the hospital recovering from Covid-19. This has helped me develop the chest muscles that help me breathe. Relative background information: I have used this as an arm exerciser only and combined this with 4 ten minute sessions of walking each day as soon as I could, along with various exercises from the Home Health aides, and some core strength, balance, stability and endurance exercises - including some resistance band exercises from the internet for Pulmonary Rehab - for the past 5 months or so - and I am beginning to become somewhat stronger now. I am still using this product and appreciate the fact that it is so easy to increase the tension, to match any improvement in my pulmonary functioning, by just turning the wheel. I didn't know what to expect from it. But the price was quite attractive and I figured it had to be better than nothing. It has exceeded my expectations and I found it to be far sturdier than I anticipated. It has worked well for me. While it is not necessarily designed for my purpose, and can not be calibrated to represent the same settings used in pulmonary rehab, it's very easy to tighten the tension wheel enough to approximate the same conditions. By monitoring my pulse rate and difficulty breathing, while maintaining 50-60 revolutions per minute, I can approximate fairly closely the maximum beneficial effort that I expend at Rehab. Doing this for 15 minutes most days each week has allowed me to see considerable improvement in my Pulmonary function. It works for me and for my situation. I thought the set-up instructions a little ambiguous - possibly my then Covid-19 brain functioning - but my husband soon figured it out. It doesn't take long to set-up but it had one part we could not figure where to put and finally assumed it must be an extra tension wheel (I think) but it works well as assembled, It does NOT fold down. It must be stored as is - my model is about 14" deep,19 " wide, and 12" high. The handholds add about 4" to the height but hang down when not moving. I appreciated that the handholds (stirrups) were grooved for grasping but they aren't the most comfortable to use. (I would reccommend wrapping them in a bit of cloth material, or wear gloves, if this bothers you. It's not a major concern of mine as it doesn't bother me much). This unit came with a wonderful flexible pad to use to help stabilize it on any surface - a very practical concept. It grips both the surface it is put on and the unit itself. Even with the competing forces applied during use, it usually does a superb job of stabilizing it. This also doubles as a dust cover if you don't store it away between uses. I would have appreciated having a way to re-set all the display settings back to zero before each use but, if it has that function, I have not found it. (Not a very big concern considering the price!) The display setting is good-sized, easy to read, and in a convenient location for reading during operation. It cycles between each option throughout the whole exercise routine. I am only interested in completing 15 minutes so I don't usually use it. (I use the clock on the TV equipment to time my sessions). It can be used almost anywhere but to exercise your arms/chest muscles. it is best to have it on a sturdy surface, easy to reach while sitting. I set this on a small folding table (20" w X 15" d and 24" h); sit in a comfortable recliner in front of the T.V, and peddle away. It doesn't weigh a lot - an important consideration if you are recovering from Covid, or a similar debilitating condition! Yet my unit is very sturdy. The double-sided gripping pad mostly keeps it stable; but, if it does move, it is easy to re-align and continue; occassionally I have grabbed the table legs with my knees, or held it down with my feet, to stabilize it better, The bottom ends have a rubber cap that further grips the mat on the floor , (or table), and shouldn't scratch either. All in all, a very well-thought-out, practical, design. I would give it 4.7 stars for all it's features, and the price, but I could not find a way to enter that number without giving it a 5.0. It serves my purposes well. I highly reccommend it.

Cheap and effective but VERY wobbly
Came assembled and is easy to use but it is very wobbly which can be uncomfortable and noisy. The plastic guards on the legs aren't fit snuggly so the legs shift when I pedal. I've tried some at home fixes but I may have to use tape and shims to stop it from wobbling so badly.

Works great for my needs
This little bike works good for my needs. I work full-time from home and I’m a full-time online student. I get out of the house maybe once a week and I don’t have time or patience to visit a gym a few times a week. I put it under my desk and I have the back of it up against the wall and I ride this little bike while I am working and I use it until it says I’ve burned 500 calories. I am on a diet and getting a little bit of exercise everyday really helps with my weight loss. I can start and stop as I need to. This is a great way for me to multitask. I don’t have to get up early to exercise before work. I don’t think this would be good for someone who wants to do more hardcore workouts with it, it does seem a little bit cheaply made. It also might move around some unless you can put the back of it up against a wall like I do, or at least put it on a hard floor so the rubber bottoms can grip it. If you put it on a carpet it may slide around. It has squeaked a couple times but then the squeaking just went away. I also don’t know how accurate the calorie counter on it is because it doesn’t ask for your weight, height, or gender so I could be actually burning more or less than what it says. Overall though I really like it for the price.

Pretty good
Bought it for my dad because he has very weak legs and he loves it. Can sit on couch and pedal while watching tv. I might get one for myself. Apparently it’s German made or engineered. Very good quality he tells me and adjustable
