Worked as expected

When it comes to circuit breakers, Square D is the industry standard. I saw an excellent video on the fact that cbs do not last forever. I recently installed a 11 KW tankless water heater and hooked it up to my sub feed from my workshop. It requires a 60 amp cb which worked out well because that is what was there already. The video I saw says your cb should not hum excessively nor vibrate. I turned my hot water on and walked out to see how my cb was behaving. It had what I perceived as an excessive hum. I therefore ordered a new one and it has seemed to reduce the hum. A small hum is acceptable. For the price, why take a chance? Btw, make sure you turn the power off at the cb and even the main switch for that matter before removing!!
