💕Long-Lasting Durable Coating—Extremely Prettiful💕
We have used Rust-Oleum products for years. My most favorite use recently is to use it as the top-coat finish for my kindness pebbles. It makes them shine and gives them a strong, durable coating that will not break down in the outdoor elements. It is so fun to hide these shiny, little kindness pebbles and watch people find them.

Spray is a mist as opposed to a stream
I love how great the mist is as opposed to a direct stream. Goes on softly so no runs or streaks. Dries quickly, yes, it was a beautiful warm day, but goes on quickly and dries quickly. I put this on a metal yard sculpture.

Very expensive but it's the only clearcoat which does not add shinyness
I found this clear spray coating sticks perfectly on any base-type of dried paint. A plus is, & I tested this, is this makes the paint or magic-markered lettering much tougher to scratch off than if the painted surface was not coated with this. I wanted a clear coating which does not add any shinyness over camo painted surfaces, & amen this does not add any shinyness.

NOT compatible with other Rustoleum spray paints
Be very careful with this clear. It is apparently a lacquer product and should not be used over enamels. Although there were no cautions on the can, we did not find it compatible with previously sprayed Rustoleum colors including 2 in 1 Primer gray, Camouflage Black and Camouflage Khaki. Even though the color coats had been down for many days and were thoroughly dry, as soon as this clear was applied, the previous finishes wrinkled and raised, ruining the jobs. The spray head also spattered and spit droplets even though we had shaken the can for 2 full minutes prior to our attempt. Emails to Rustoleum have gone unanswered. VERY disappointed!

Not “Dead Flat” at all...
I am an avid military modeler and flat paint is essential when building armor such as tanks. I bought this product because it’s name suggests it’s finish can’t really be any more flat. Oh how they lie. At BEST it leaves a dull satinish finish which is anything BUT flat. The paint Inapplied before this was actually flatter than this. Save your money.

Poster glare
Are you a teacher? If so, this stuff is for you!!! Do your kids have a hard time seeing posters because of a glare? This will save your life. Give everything a quick spray with this and you can see it anywhere in the classroom. The best few dollars I ever spent!

It’s a matte finish
Worked for me. Bought two cans and will buy couple more. Pressing the lever at the bottom yields a nice even spray.

Works incredibly well
I had made a wood address sign but used materials from the craft store so I was a little worried how it would hold up in the weather. I did 3-4 coats of this and it’s been outside for weeks and still looks perfect. Rain just beads off. The spray comes out in a very fine mist and you definitely need a few coats. This was a small sign and I used the entire can on it. Price could add up for a larger project but I was happy with it for this.

Works great - but very stinky
Make sure to use outside, or in a well ventilated space. I made the mistake of using inside, and boy oh boy, the smell was so strong, and lasted for days.

Poor rating is for the wrong product
The product gives a matte finish rather than the advertised clear finish, I had used the product for headlight restoration thinking that it will give a clear finish, but the headlights were made to look frosty and had to re do the process again and use another clear spray from rustoleum itself. Poor rating is for the wrong product description
