SOOOO GOOOOD
These cookies/biscuits are the best I’ve ever had!! I’m so addicted to them. They melt in your mouth and the ingredients are perfectly married together. I honestly, can’t get enough of these. Very clean ingredients and are perfectly with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee. 10/10

Healthy-not too sweet...
Been eating these for years. I love with afternoon tea with a thin slice of gouda cheese on top! Nice flavor, texture--great at the beach, too.

Healthy and Delicious
My college kid who has long preferred British-type cookies (less sweet) inhales these. Lovely to have such a healthy option for him!

Slightly Salty-Sweet with a Perfect Texture
You wouldn’t know by looking at the package or by noting that these are oat cakes - it’s very unassuming - but Effies Oat Cakes are epic!! I tried them at my sister’s house (they are a staple there), ate up all of hers, ordered some and my husband and i went through multiple packs in too little time. I sent some to my daughter, and when I asked, she told me she plowed through them in a flash. Don’t order these if you (like us) have little self control. They’re that good.

An Amazing Product that's instantly addictive.
I didn't quite know what to expect, but these surprised me! They are slightly sweet, with the texture of a flaky biscuit but still crisp like a cracker. How do they manage that? Don't care, they are addictive and I will be buying them regularly. I'm sure I am going to be able to name a few extra pounds after them, but at this point in life, who cares!

Tasted fine. But in pieces! Couldn’t possibly serve to guests which was intent.
Item received all smashed. Crackers all in pieces.

Very nibbleable
Great flavour, for a sweet biscuit.

Should come with a warning label. They're addictive.
I'm updating my review. As much as I love this product, it was a mistake to buy it from this seller. They shipped it to me in a paper envelope. These tea biscuits are fragile. I knew from having bought them in the past at the store that they are in a small plastic tray, enclosed in cellophane, which is in a paper bag that has a fold-over top. That's very clear in the picture. Unfortunately, the seller shipped these delicate cookies in nothing but a paper mailer envelope - the kind that is lined with a thin layer of bubble wrap. These padded envelopes are suitable from books or other objects that are hard but not fragile, and would protect items like that from bumps during shipping. An envelope is NOT suitable for shipping delicate tea biscuits. Not surprisingly, I received a bag of cookie crumbs. There were two cookies in the middle of the container that had only broken into two pieces and those could be eaten. Everything else was just cookie crumbs. When I opened the package, crumbs flew all over my kitchen counter, making a mess. I threw the whole thing in the trash. I do love the product, but I know not to purchase anything else from this seller. $11.99 for a pile of crumbs. What a waste.I discovered these a few weeks ago when the upscale cheese section at my local grocer did a tasting demo of these oatcakes with a dollop of mascarpone and an upscale sour cherry jam. I don't usually accept the food sample they hand out in grocery stores, but they caught me at a weak moment as I was selecting cheeses to pair with some specific beers and wines that weekend. This was an incredible combination, so I bought the oatcakes, the mascarpone, and the jam that was apparently made from pampered and pedigreed cherries raised with the delicate strains of new age music wafting ever so gently through the orchard. (At least I hope so, because I paid a premium price for the jam.)Never mind the aristocratic cherries. The oatcakes were the real star. They're like a thick graham cracker, but with a rich and hearty taste somewhat akin to a good shortbread. I couldn't specifically identify any oat flavor to them. These are clearly made with good ingredients, because a couple of these with or without the mascarpone and over-priced jam, the oatcakes make a nice bit of nibble. They would have gone nicely with a cup of coffee or tea. The package and their web site offer various suggestions for food pairings, and I plan to try some of those.I went to the store yesterday to buy more and they were out. They are waiting to get more in, but I want to serve some to guests in the new few days, so I was happy to find them on Amazon for about the same price I paid at the store. Be careful, though, because of them posted on Amazon are priced ridiculously high. I paid around $6.00 at my store. That's price for a small package of gussied up graham crackers, but I do think they're worth it for the occasional indulgence.I did try a package of the Effie's corn cakes last night. I served them with a small bit of Cowgirl Creamery Mt. Tam triple cream cheese. This is a small cheese company in Pt. Reyes, CA. I find their incredible cheeses at Whole Foods in Napa, Scottsdale, and sometimes other cities. It's a very nice triple cream (aka American Brie). It went very nicely with the corn cakes. I plan to try them again tonight with a glass of Goldeneye Pinot Noir I opened with dinner, Sounds like a good pairing. They also have a pecan nutbread, and some others that I'm anxious to try.
