Charges my Ryobi batteries like the original
My Ryobi charger died and I didn't want to spend a ton of money or wait until Black Friday or Prime Day. Opted for this since if it didn't work, Amazon would return it. It works excellent. Charges my batteries just like the original.

Works Great for Old and New Batteries
I inherited two old 18V batteries and charger from my dad. The old charger did not charge the old batteries, so I bought this charger and two new batteries. This charger charged the new batteries great (which I expected). The pleasant surprise was that it charged the old batteries as well so I can use them with the Ryobi reciprocating saw. I need to be honest and say the old batteries don't hold a charge as well as the new ones, but they are still functional which is a win in my humble opinion.

If it would charge the batteries
It worked fine but accidentally ordered 2 by mistake. Left in its pkg, so there won’t be a problem returing it
