Milton 1635 50 Foot EPDM 3/8" ID Rubber Air Hose

I bought this hose to replace a PVC hose. I dislike PVC hose. EPDM rubber doesn't doesn't take a set as bad as PVC hose and is more maneuverable when dragging it around the shop; it doesn't kink. While it's heavier than PVC, it isn't a show stopper.The end fittings appear to be installed with a heavy crimp. Even so, it's important to use two wrenches when installing quick connects. If the crimped connection is compromised (starts spinning around on the hose), the outer covering of the hose will tend to balloon.I have used Milton products in the past and have yet to be disappointed with their performance or quality.

Great hose

I try to buy made in the United States is much as I can. This hose because it's rubber does not slide easily around items and never seems to stay flat, it always winds up on itself. When Im finished for the day I wind this in 4 large loops on the wall which is 4 feet tall. I do not have and this never has been in a hose winder. I will switch back to my old hose and use this for outside or as a backup.

I had a hose already, but I wanted an American made hose. The quality of materials and construction are immediately felt. For my home use, this is definitely the last hose I will ever need. I am so glad I replaced my old hose along with the Milton high flow fittings. The performance of my tools was improved drastically, and now I have an excuse to upgrade my weak link in my current setup. My cheap compressor!
