Alpha Protech Rex Synfelt Synthetic Roof Underlayment, 48" X 250'

I’m adding a sunroom to my home and selected this product based on my experience using it in the past. Several years ago I added a second floor to my home and selected this synthetic felt based on its ability to withstand up to 6 months of UV exposure. I did the work by myself and needed underlayment that wouldn’t deteriorate due to extended exposure to the elements. The product performance was outstanding so I had no hesitation buying it for the new sunroom.

I have a 6,000 sq ft roof. So far, I have ordered 8 of these rolls and still need 2 more. The overlap doesn't even begin to account for the missing coverage. What gives?

I like this stuff because it is NOT black. I have used Tri-Flex which is black and it is very hot on a summer's day. I like the skid resistance of both products. Last time I priced both items Rex was a little more expensive. Both are great for shedding water & staying put in windy conditions.

I bought this item November 2016 but am now using it. I truly love the feel and the strength of it; also the skid resistance is great. There are many similar products on the market which are a bit cheaper but I just decided on this without any references.
