Easily Concealed Under Carpet
I'd been running a 110V extension cord under a carpet to my reclining sofa for a couple of years, which is a no-no from a fire safety perspective. In looking for lie-flat durable extension cords for use under carpets (of which I only found one), I read a comment where they recommended extending the low-voltage cable instead, and placing that under the carpet. Much safter (I still try never to walk on the cable). This product works great, snaps in securely, and I had no problems with it!
