hygger Quietest Aquarium Air Pump, Adjustable Oxygen Pump 2 Air Outlets 5W/10W Ultra Silent Powerful Aerator Pump for Fish tank

For a long airstone, 240ltrs aquarium. Wanted extra quiet after trying a well know brand at half the price that was noisy. Great very quiet, the bubbles make more noise than the pump, and that's saying something. I have insulated the cupboard, although it didn't really need it. I sat it on some thick cloth as it made a very slight noise, but we do have wood floors. Iam very noise aware, can't hear it. Brilliant. It's an investment and will hopefully last a while, worth the extra money for the silent running. Works great with the airstone.would highly recommend.

After trial and error, reviews apon reviews and buying cheaper units to only have them returned and or put aside as spares.I stumbled apon this piece of kit only to hesitate at first. Noticing from its images it looked promising but with its more expensive tag- compared to other models that "claimed" to be silent and powerful and that of the U.S. plug image in its description, i was not sure i wanted to commit. Though despite this, i decided to buy. With a swift click and delivery i was pleasantly relieved and definitely happy as it is supplied with a U.K standard plug. I chanced my luck and it was not a worthless shot, its by far the better model of air pumps out their. The box like, bigger than a hand bulky build is unique and remarkably stylish for its size and shape. The thicker casing reduces the resonating blare of the motor and Its suction cup base and rubber legs surpass other models as they are incredibly robust; stopping any movements and vibrations that cause that rattling carnage of sound. The two outlets are placed at the back and out of sight allowing it to be positioned in a more uncomplicated and modish setting. The radio style rotary dial for air intake is ideal showcasing it to be user friendly that controls the air flow perfectly. The only short back, is the cord for the plug is at the front of the unit but with one small flaw, this retro yet modern pump lives up to its silent and powerful name.It is most definitely far superior to the majority of pumps on the market and worth that extra spending cap for something that is going to last longer as well as providing a brilliant and non problematic service for a fish hobbiest while not being an eye sore.

Absolutely fantastic pump. Quiet as a whisper. I have is positioned right under my working desk and I don't ever know it's there.Been running continuously now for over a year. Flawless.

Makes very little noise, I can have it on max power and it's still quieter than the tank filter. Easy to adjust the flow. Giving it four stars because one of the stones I connected upto it has far less pressure than the other. It's pretty visable. I might try cutting the pipe shorter, not sure if it's related to the pump or the stones/pipe. you'll need to buy the airstones, pipe and valves seperate. You need valves if you want the pump underneath the tank

I wasn’t looking to spend as much on an air pump, but I did want one that was up to running a Sponge Filter ( also made by Hygger ) and air stones without loss of power. It also needed to be almost silent as the tank was in the main living room of the house. I decided to spend that little bit more and go for Hygger. The pump is solid, very well made, with good sound insulation. It has a blue power led on top of the unit, with the variable flow rotary knob on the back. Some other reviews mentioned a lack of sensitivity at low levels, but I didn’t have this issue. The airline output nozzles are metallic and well crafted, although you might want to soften up the ends of your air hose in warm water first, as its a very tight fit for a standard airline. . There are four rubber suction pads on the base to absorb any vibration that occurs. The output from the powerful 10w motor is the best I’ve seen on any air pump that I’ve owned, which is the main thing. Early days, but the product seems very well made, ticks all the boxes for a premium aquarium air pump. Worth the extra spend, in my opinion.
