Q: I just finished a one-color quilt top. The color is definitely teal and white. Would this work as a backing fabric for it?

I think this fabric would make a great backing for a teal and white quilt. If I recall, it is only 44" wide so would need to be done in 2 panels. With the busy print, I would not try to match the design for the seam in the middle as it will not be noticed.

Q: Does this fabric stretch??

No it does not stretch, It is 100% cotton. great quality. Perfect for quilting.

Q: Can the fabric be used outside?

This fabric can be worn outside as an article of clothing or cover, however, it is cotton fabric not and outside-decor fabric so it's not weather-proof durable. I used it as part of a quilt.

Q: is this fabric good for curtains

It is a beautiful fabric. Like all cottons, would be easy to sew and make great curtains. If you like the colors and the motion, you will love this fabric.
