Needs High Amp Output Battery
I own a few Lumintop flashlights and all very good and this LUMINTOP FW21 X9L is right up there with them. The high amp Li Ion is needed for the turbo mode to function. At first I tried a 18650 that is fine with other flashlights but could not handle this flashlight. I was still charging a new 35A output 21700 Li ion. Once it was in wow the turbo mode is a big jump above the high mode. Continuously variable from firefly to high. Quick double click for turbo and it is really bright. The beam pattern is sort of in between a pencil beam and flood leaning towards a slimmer thrower and does muscle the light out a impressive amount and distance in turbo. But it does heat up kind of fast and throttles itself down to high. Has a tail switch that has a very smooth light touch actuation. Click one time for on and off and hold to ramp up or ramp down two clicks for turbo. It is compact nice silver blueish color and a EDC size for most people. Fits very comfortably in the hand. It shipped and arrived quickly in perfect condition. Definitely one for the collection.
