This is a solid, heavy, top tier rope. It looks impressive before you even touch it. The carabiners, heat wrapping, and reinforced loops all scream high quality. This is meant as climbing rope and after pulling a riding mower out of a ditch and across the lawn with it, it appears safe and sound. The carabiners hold tight and the rope showed no signs of stress. It is large and commands respect so it is legitimate. The value for the money is unbelievably great compared to similar ropes out there. There is a major flaw in the cheap bag but toss it… it detracts nothing from the rope itself.

I have bought several of these climbing ropes for my dog. My first set worked great for about 5-6 years in 4 season Midwest weather, pretty durable. Long rope gives plenty of room for dog to explore without letting him run off after a car or critter.

We actually purchased this climbing rope to use as an anchor line for our pontoon boat. My husband figured if it's tough enough for climbing, it should hold an anchor ⚓️ well. It comes with 2 heavy duty carabiners, and a storage bag. It should do the job nicely.
