Using for supplemental heat in our living room. Works well, like the various flame colors. Quiet. Time will tell if it really helps with the heating bill once it actually gets cold.

The fireplace insert looks fine but while running it makes a noise. Hoping that if its used some it will stop but not sure. I have only used it 2 times so will have to see. Fire colors are nice and pretty to watch. Seems well made other than the noise.

This fireplace has exceeded my expectations. I live in a 35' rv and the insulation isn't anything like a house would have. I figured I'd be cold again. Going to bed I set this on 71° and had to get up in the night and turn it down. I had it installed and my tv is above it which concerned me but the heat goes straight out and 6 hours later the tv was cool to the touch. I didn't think this fireplace would heat to good because it was on the least expensive side but it has surpassed all.

I bought this for aesthetics as well as the heating function. So far, it’s pretty!I will update this review in the winter when I have a better idea how the heater works.Unfortunately, I’ve had remote control problems.. even after a replacement from their customer service.

I bought this for my husbands man cave and he loves it. The heater works well.

Basically to offer heat and make my dog happy as her big bed is right in front and she loves to lay there.

We have only used this once, for a 7 hour period when we lost power. Our house is wired to use generator power for everything but heat and the oven and dryer. Anyway, we plugged this in and set it 72. We were already at that temperature, so it basically maintained it for us. The fan is a bit on the weak side and I really needed to get up close after being outside to refill the generator. The warm air only travels about 2.5 feet, if that. It does, however, eventually warm the room. I'm not sure it would actually work for the advertised space, however.The flames look nice - we are traditionalists and prefer the yellow. It is purely a visual pleasure thing - the unit would work the same without it, but it is nice to see!Our generator did not use appreciably more gas running this unit and we stayed much warmer than we we had to use our small, parabolic dish heater.We have yet to build the outside to make it appear like an 'actual' fireplace, but it works fine as a stand alone unit for now.
