Bought this Braun descaler for our Braun coffee maker. It was easy to use and a good value since it was enough for two cleanings.

Good stuff.
Using formula from Braun feels like we are in maintaining machine properly.Had some trouble nailing down exact proportions for the multi serve, but somewhere it said one dose with 100 ml water.You get two treatments with this sized bottle.This seems to match the type I use for Nespresso descaling.Lactic acid based I think.It is pricey, and you could probably find an acceptable alternative for less.But we are happy with it.

Instructions on packaging is very difficult to understand. The text is so small very hard to read and it's in many different languages. Not a fan of this product.

Use what manufacturer recommends
Looking at the ingredients of other products, I decided it was too risky to try them instead of what the manufacturer recommended for cleaning my coffee maker. 2 cleanings included in each bottle. It worked wonderfully with no residual aftertaste.
