Emjoi After Epilation Cream with Hair Growth Inhibitor, 150 ml (5 oz.) ((Pack of 2)

When I first began to epilate I broke out really bad. I tried some other lotions from the big box store that promised "healing" or "for sensitive skin" but to no avail. So I decided to give this stuff a try which I was a bit weary because of the price. So, at first I purchased two bottles began to see a noticeable effect in my skin clearing up within a week so I ordered 10 more bottles to keep me for a while. After about 5/6 weeks I have began to notice the hair is finer and lighter in color. This stuff is expensive but it does work. Also for those who are wondering there is a the note in the directions that the hair inhibitor only works if the hair is removed at the root - meaning don't expect to get the inhibitor effects if you are using this post shaving with an old fashioned razor.Personally I will never use another razor on my legs or bikini area again, as epilation is a much better option for my hair removal needs.

At first it didn't seem to work, I was rushing the process. But, I have to say, I think it's working. I apply twice a day, morning and night, and after three weeks I am seeing results. It says not to use on face but I have some chin hairs and I did anyway. I don't apply a lot. So the hair grows less often and some are thinner then they have been in the past. With 2 tubes, this stuff will last me a long time because I apply in one area. I am hoping to apply only once a week soon (don't want the "unknown" chemicals on my skin everyday). Will give it ten weeks and report back.

I really like the cream and for the cost. Getting two for basically the price of one was great. It goes on smoothly without any burning or sensation and I do believe that the hair above my lip is not as full and the growth has slowed down already. I let my daughter use some and she says the same thing. This was the first product of its kind that I have ever purchased. I am pleased and feel that when I get low I will order more.

I used this as directed after epilating my legs. I have thick, coarse hair that tends to curl and produce ingrown hairs. I noticed that if I used this every day after epilation, the hair was much finer and grew back much MUCH more slowly than usual. I used it in conjunction with TendSkin, so I'm not sure if it does anything for ingrown hairs. It also smells really lovely without being too overpowering. Can be a little greasy on hot, humid days. Wish more came in a bottle!

Been using it for the past month or so and pretty much following the instructions. It seems to work fairly well. Half of the hair on my legs has become softer and lighter in color. The lotion is not messy though it needs to be worked in just a bit. It smells quite neutral, without any harsh chemicals. Not as magical as it claims, but I never expected miracles from these products anyway. Hopefully with continued use, it would minimize the hair even more.

When I received the items in the mail, there was lotion all over the bottles. There was tape on top of the bottles, I guess to keep the top from opening but that didn't work because lotion was still leaking from the top of the bottles. I was going to return the items, but I didn't feel like waiting weeks to get another so I clean the bottles and tried it the first night. I don't know if this product works or not because I didn't use it for that long but it does have a nice scent to it. Overall, it's ok.

There's really no telling if it's working or not. I mean, I get waxed once a month and use this for a day or two. I don't see any difference really but I might be using it incorrectly. Besides it says for epilating and I'm waxing. What I can say is that it seems do to a good job keeping the redness down to almost nothing.
