The aftermarket AquaClear AC515 filter is used in refrigerators by Maytag, Whirlpool, Jenn-Air and others. It is designed to replace the factory original UKF7003 / UKF7003AXX. The AC515 filter creates better tasting water for drinking and making beverages as well as clean, clearer, healthy ice. Our filters use an advanced filtration process using activated carbon. The carbon helps to reduce those harmful contaminants that can seep into your drinking water. Over time, the carbon inside the filter becomes less effective at absorbing those chemicals. Therefore, we typically recommend replacing your UKF7003 filter every 3 to 6 months depending on usage.
