Got this for my apartment. I always worried someone will pick my door lock while I fall asleep. Now I am worries free. Got this for almost a year and it still working like day one.If the lock won't give you a beep when you set it, you need to shake it a bit so the static electricity reset itself. Set it again, it will beep.

Occasionally mom will get up in the night to check the door while half asleep. Which sets the alarm off and scares me awake. This device confuses and deters her because the door won't open. Perfect.

It was too short for my sliding door, which was probably my fault for not measuring the exact length I needed. However, the non-removable "foot" was also too big to fit in the door track so even if it was the right length, it wouldn't have been able to fit into the track anyway. The listing didn't specify how wide the foot was. They really should. Not all sliding door tracks will be able to accommodate such a large foot. It was quite sturdy otherwise. But I had to return it.

I stay in a lot of hotels and air bnb’s. I use these often for extra security and they work very well. Even with the door completely unlocked and this installed, it would be extremely difficult to get the door open. This product coupled with a doors normal locking hardware makes it nearly impossible to get the door open and if you get the one with the alarm, that adds even more security. If personal security is important to you, I couldn’t recommend this product enough.

I bought 2 of these just as some added peace of mind! I have 2 teenagers in my home and these give me a little more peace of mind when I leave them home alone. Also at night time, it def helps me sleep better. The alarm on these things are no joke!! They hurt yours ears instantly so there is zero way someone is breaking in and not waking up the entire neighborhood!! They are well made. Look great and get the job done!

This product is simple and easy to utilise. It provides added security and peace of mind . I particularly like the fact that it has the alarm which would quickly alert me of any potential intruders. Not only is it easy to fit, it is also easy to remove when needed.
