This can safe is 4 inches tall. We do sell a "Hyper-Realistic Can Safe - Barbasol" that is 6 inches tall.

Would this hold up for carrying dice in a backpack, on the go? Specifically does the door stay shut and is the label durable?

The door stays shut. The label appears to be a genuine label so check it out in a grocery store to see if it meets your needs. I think the can would bend easily if carried around regularly.
