Update 5/18/2025 - I haven't had a bad bottle since that first one (read intial review) they've all been perfectly delcious. 3 years later and Im still using this. Its at a point where I dont even want coffee if I dont have this mocha flavor. My BF said he crested a monster since he intially bought them to try them. (He did not like them as much as me but he does cold brew and prefers flavored coffee creamers to syrups, I cant use coffee creamers because of the carrageenan that is in most of them (causes the worst bloating/stomachache like doubled over pain) so I use this wonderfully delicious mocha syrup (its thinner then a "syrup" its the same consistnecy as a 1:1 ratio of sugar water (simple syrup, equal parts water and sugar which i make at home as use sometimes) and then use generic store brand half and half (you can get a really lovely foam just shaking this or using a frothing stick if you have one (super easy cold foam)Wanted to update that these now always taste exactly how they should. It was just that first double set I bought and never happened again.Update 4/13/2022 - upping to 5 stars from previous 3 based on my prior review (see below) i want to update that if you get a bottle that has a light alcohol smell and tastes more like caramel to just let it sit for 1-2 weeks and then it will taste exactly like its suppose to. My best guess when its like that its because its newer. But i can 100% say that the first bottle by the time i got to the bottom of it tasted just right. The Caramel flavor isnt bad either just prefer the flavor its suppose to be. So again if you get a bottle that has a strong smell upon opening and tastes more like caramel just let it sit (i did it with the pump on) on the counter for atleast a week. Maybe shake it occasionally. Im obessed with this flavor and can no longer stand regular chocolate sauce even the fancier brands... this flavor just hits a spot i didnt even know existedI originally tried this flavor from the 3 pack (vanilla, mocha, caramel pack) and it was delicious, so much so it ruined the dark chocolate syrup I normally use. The first one, was easy to blend and had this perfect chocolate - coffee flavor. (mocha = chocolate and coffee for those that do not know) I loved it so much, I bought this 2 pack, and I was so excited when it showed up. But When I went to put the pump in the first bottle I opened I noticed an overwhelming smell of alcohol.The next day I used it and was really shocked to find it did not have that delicious mocha flavor of the first. This bottle tastes more like caramel then a chocolate and coffee mix. It's not a bad flavor, just not what I was expecting. Now I'm torn. Because these bottles clearly do not have a consistent flavor which is disappointing. I want the flavor of the first bottle, and it was soooooo good it literally ruined normal chocolate syrup for me, I tired going back, but now this second bottle isn't right. And I fully understand the reviews around this mocha flavor.it's inconsistent.Here's hoping the second bottle gives the flavor I'm expecting.

Tasty syrup, no HFCS, good enough but could be a little more minty. My one complaint is the way this product is packaged pretty much ensures that the pump is going to break during shipping. Mine did, I just ordered a new one rather than try to request one.

Bottom line DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE ITS A WAST OF MONEY. The 7-11 in my area has this in the store and it is thick and bold in flaver. This crap is week and watered down. It doesn't deserve any stars but u have to give at least one in order to leave a review but I give it a ZERO. I repeat DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE. I

Not as happy with this syrup. The Chai flavoring is very weak. The syrup is thin. The value for two bottles is great, but if you're looking for a true, robust Chair flavor, something else might work better.
