Will a regular slice of bread fit on this grill? I want it to make grilled cheese sandwiches for the kids. Thanks in advance.

I love my Dash Griddle. Although Dash will not accommodate regular slice, it certainly will accommodate a hamburger bun. When I was a kid, my friends mom used hamburger buns to make a buttery grilled cheese. Delicious!

How do you clean it? Do the plates come out?

Clean up is super easy. Simply wipe it down with a papertowel after cooking is complete. The plates do not come off but in truth that isn't even necessary.

Got as a gift. Does the nonstick contain teflon? I need specifics, if it does using it could kill my birds. What does the nonstick surface contain?

Unless a product is labeled specifically, you should assume any non-stick coating is PTFE-based which, as you apparently realize, can harm some birds if overheated.

Could you make a waffle with this?

The one I have is a griddle so its a smooth surface. You can't make a waffle but you can make a pancake. Perfect size for my 2 year old.

Súper práctica

Ya tenía la que hace waffles y pensé en esta opción para hacer cosas súper rápidas como huevos o quesadillas. La he estado probando con más cosas como tortitas de papás o atún. Es buenísima. Se calienta súper pronto, no se pega nada. Es genial. Me gusta mucho y me ayuda bastante para agilizar el día a día y mantener la comida estética. La recomiendo.
