A definitive visual treat
Outstanding and a areal treasure trove of photographic history and knowledge. A massive book weighing heavily but, worth all that trouble. Only this DK publication has 480 pages whereas, the other publications have lesser pages?! Perhaps, the only book that contains so much details and large size photographs and many not seen before! A life time of reference book It must certainly adorn the book shelf of every living photographer.

Excelente

This will last a lifetime and will never bore you.
A marvelous visual history of photography that includes hundreds of photos from the earliest days of “The Camera” including the progression of the lens (ala Ilse Bing et al). Anyone who is interested in various aspects of photography will appreciate this for many reasons, not just the history, but also the fine reproductions. This book will be on your desk for many years. I gave it to my young artistic friend for her graduation from eighth grade, and she loved it. (It was hard for me to part with it!)
