East to tune, sound great!

Immediate, nice, clear sound. Quality string.

Great strings right out of the box. Less stretching hassles than some strings, including regular Dominants. The best sounding E string from a set I have ever experienced. I appreciate not having to buy a separate E string. NOW it’s time to find out how long they last.

I am on the fence right now. Cons: somewhat metallic resonance. They appear to go slightly flat after playing a cord. This was on initial placement (i put them all on at once). I'm hoping this will change after a few weeks of playing. I had Pirastro gold's on before which were great, but really didn't last long: about 2.5 months. I will try to update later.Pros: very quick response which improves intonation adjustment with quick passages. No "mushiness" to the sound. Wide range of color. Powerful sound with much less effort in the higher positions. Violin definitely sounds different, but I'm not sure I like it yet. Hard to tell what warm is under the ear so need someone to listen from across the room. OH! They did not take very long to hold their intonation once put on. I did not put on the e-string.
