I bought a TKL02 with so-called "brown" keys. The key switches aren't very noisy but normal typing still causes the plastic key caps to click against the plastic key body. These o-rings prevent that.You just remove each key cap, stretch an o-ring over the post or posts inside the cap and then press the cap back into place. It took me about 30 minutes.However if your keyboard has "blue" keys then these won't make a huge difference. You can tell by pressing a key slowly, if it gives a loud click after being pressed part way down then o-rings won't change that.

My keyboard used to be extremely loud and for videos, that was not a sound that went over well to viewers or people I was recording with. Though they did not take away the sound of the click entirely, it definitely made a difference in the audio quality of my videos! I’m so glad I went with these! Way cheaper than a new keyboard especially since I love the keyboard I have!

Bought this for Velocifire M2 61 keyboard red switches along with other Dampeners. The keyboard was soft but loud. This would be quickest way to reduce the sound where key caps hit the switch base. Like most other reviews mentioned, attempting to install 2 rings stacked wouldn't be a wise choice. Because it affects the key travel distance to the point it looses sensitivity of the press. (you need extra force to press which defeat the purpose). Though, the space key can have 2 rings on the both ends. (The one above switch still wear one).The source the sound is not totally because of the collision between key caps and switch. So, if you are adventurer and dare to disassemble/mod the keyboard further. I strongly recommended to buy https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B6Z2WM5F to get complete satisfaction of the sound.Otherwise, if you don't want to bother with all that. This only will get you 50% of ultimate effect.

Exactly what they’re supposed to be. I expected it to make them a bit more quiet, but I feel that is more of a keyboard issue than the o-rings. Just as clear as you’d expect light still passed through extremely well.
