Marantz CD6007

I am an old school audiophile. I still listen to Vinyls and have huge collection of Vinyl and Music CD’s. I continue to buy CDs even today whenever I get a rare album.I have a Yamaha 5 CD changer CDC 775. It’s now giving problems as the lens is now on the verge of dying. So I was looking for a pure CD player with very little added features. And some how I wasn’t convinced with DVD or a Blu Ray player catering to my music CD needs.Marantz CD6007 is like a tank. It’s heavy, it’s big and it’s robust. In very limited options at mid budget, Marantz CD6007 is a perfect player. It has got a minimalist design and bare minimum buttons in the front. The CD reading speed is quite fast and playback is done in a jiffy. It has a pretty decent remote too.The sound reproduction is extremely high end. Even on a MP3 CD the quality is not very much compromised. I haven’t used the USB but I am expecting it to be as smooth as other operations.With CD’s and CD players becoming rare and limited, I am so glad to have procured this high end and extremely versatile CD player.PS : With my Yamaha amplifier the bass is quite high with this CD player and treble is pretty low. Hence I’ve put a pre amp to manage the balances. Now the output is many notches up. Strongly recommended if you are looking for no nonsense dedicated CD player for your Music CDs.

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered Marantz CD6007Opened and connected. And what a shock. Cd player is not able to read any CD ? UnbelievableInside sealed box found warranty certificate which is stamped and signed. So this is. It original box. It has been opened and packed again. Most probably the original supplier has purposefully packed and handed over faulty piece.Off course Amazon said they will arrange return and replace. But this is unbelievable experience.Amazon must take up such issue very strongly with original supplier

I ordered the product on Amazon and it was faulty. It did not play the discs with disc error. I asked for replacement and the replacement also had the same issue. Returning this product now. Looks like the Amazon stock is faulty.

Premetto che non sono un audiofilo, ma questo lettore mi è piaciuto dal primo momento! A partire dalla qualità costruttiva, solido, pesante il giusto e con un'estetica molto accattivante.Suona bene, l'ho collegato ad un ampli Onkyo tramite cavo RCA e 2 casse Cervin Vega. E' silenzioso e a mio modesto parere il suono è nettamente migliore del mio vecchio Yamaha.Senza spendere un'enormità si può avere un lettore CD di tutto rispetto

Gut bestellt, schnell geliefert. Einfache Bedingung und Anschluss. Super Sound und integrieren in meiner vorhanden Hi-Fi Anlage. Es passt alles! Einzig und alleine, der Deutsche Netzstecker um am Stromkreis anzuschliessen. Dieser geht und passt nicht in der Schweiz. Aber zum Glück habe ich so ein richtiger Stecker noch. Juhu! Me ha gustado todo de este aparato. Su diseño. Su construcción… y su sonido, para el precio que tiene.Totalmente recomendable

Estube dudando entre otras opciones más económicas pero la elección ha sido la correcta. Sonido preciso, limpio y de altísima calidad. Escucho los CD como nunca antes. Recomiendo 100%.
