Great Value replacement Mini Desktop PC with Windows 11 installed!
This is my second Beelink purchase. Made a great replacement for the old desktop that can't upgrade to Windows 11. Excellent performance and easy to install. Excellent processing speed and plenty of memory for average users. Plenty of ports for accessories and easily upgraded if desired.

Great Value and Performance
So far so good. Been using it for a few months with no issues. At this price, the value is excellent. Building a similar PC on my own would cost several times more, yet this tiny machine handles everything smoothly. It’s amazing how today’s technology makes such a compact computer so capable. Perfect for my father-in-law to watch YouTube, browse the web, and stream TV.

Nice but not reliable
Got this as a replacement for a failed computer used in our SCADA system. Seemed fine at first. Fast and easy to setup, small and light. Though the fan is a bit loud it wasn't excessive. Now after a number of months in service the fan noise has become an issue and the system will at times just lock up. We think this computer just does not like to be on all the time. It may be heat related though temperature measurements don't seem to support that theory. It's too bad this has become unreliable as it sure seemed like we could populate the rest of our systems with these. I suppose it was not intended for industrial use.

Small, Fast, Reliable, Affordable... What more can you ask for in a MiniPC?
I purchased this to run my 4K smart TV because the Youtube app on the TV only display 4K Youtube videos at 720P and I wanted 4K, I also needed a very small footprint for this computer to fit on the TV stand and not be obtrusive. I run it with a mini wireless multimedia keyboard with trackball mouse I purchased a few years back. Perfect easy solution for 4K perfection. This little box will run 4K resolution at both 3840 × 2160 (4K UHD) and 4096 × 2160 (DCI 4K) despite not listing it on the specs. Its crystal clear and no issue Youtube streaming. The WiFi6 (802.11AX) will give you fast wireless connectivity up to 1Gbs speeds. Win 10 Pro full installation... Awesome deal for the price...

Nice low power mini pc!
Yes you're not going to be playing your favorite AAA first-person shooter at 4K 120Hz, but makes a great low power eco-friendly PC that you can run 24/7 for hosting things like Minecraft, Pal World, etc. servers. Running an idle Pal World server only seems to be pulling about 7.5W, so will only cost you pennies a day. Also makes a fine PC for basic home office stuff like surfing the web, checking email, etc. Again don't expect to render 8K video content on this little guy. Also amazed that it comes with a full-blown version of Windows 11 Pro, but I'm sure it's fully capable of running your favorite flavor of Linux if you so desire. Do the research online if concerned about where this computer was designed/manufactured (China), and be mindful of what network you connect it to and what data you put on it or it has access to. Some online have reported finding malware/spyware installed on some of these mini PCs that was a relatively easy to remove but I would be more concerned about something more nefarious embedded in the hardware or BIOS that would be much harder to detect or remove, Even with a complete OS reinstall. Regardless of the above, I considered the risk acceptable for my home use which seemed to be the general consensus online. In any case I would never use a system like this in my business, and certainly not for anything mission-critical, access to critical infrastructure or with access to sensitive data.

So Far So Good- Running the beelink as a media server with Mint 22
I picked this up to use as a low power consumption media server running plex, radarr, and sonarr. Before I booted it I took out the ssd out and replaced it with a 2tb ssd. Powered it up with mint cinnamon 22 on a bootable usb and had zero issues installing. I saw some reports of folks having issues getting wifi to work with linux. I had none at all with mint 22, worked right out of the box. No issues getting any of the softwares installed and running. Im running it without a monitor using x11vnc server. I havent done any transcoding with it yet. I have 2, 6tb sata hard drives plugged in via a docking station, originally had them plugged into the router, however (and this was 100% plex not the beelink) it was a pain getting that set up and working, so path of least resistance. Everything is running on the beelink and transfers without issue directly to the storage. So Far Im really pleased, longevity, remains to be seen... its currently doing a few days of burn in.

Junk. more chines trash. I take back the last review
Once it sets up it runs fine. Streams video like a champ=== II take this back. Until you see it takes a week of failed attempts at updating Windows, and then it it mRUNS AT 100% CPU when playing movies. All driver upates. these things are trash. They have some GARBAGE about 'send it back to us , and we 'may' refund your money 30 days'. This is a complete fricking RIP OFF

I bought this "little guy" as a simple Jellyfin streamer, but I was only using 20% of its power. I’ve since turned it into a full homelab that completely replaces big subscriptions with my own private versions. The Highlights: Zero Subscriptions: It hosts my personal Netflix and music library. No monthly fees, no "disappearing" content—just my own data. Better Performance: Honestly, the playback is faster than Netflix. Since I'm not fighting for bandwidth on a crowded corporate server, my movies start instantly with zero buffering. Low Power, High Reliability: It runs 24/7 on almost no electricity. I use self-healing containers that auto-fix most issues. Remote Management: If a container ever stays down, it pings a notification to my phone. I just SSH in from wherever I am and fix it in seconds. Media Everywhere: I have my entire library in my pocket. I stream my own content on the bus or at the beach without needing any traditional streaming apps. It’s the ultimate "set it and forget it" server. If you want to own your data, ditch the fees, and get a faster experience than the pros, this is the way to go!

My main computer has been a 12-year-old HP Envy with an Intel i7 processor and a 3 TB hard Drive running Windows 10 64 bit. This has been a reliable machine. I think it came with Windows 8. I upgraded to 10 for free when it first came out. Before moving into this retirement home, I had my wife's computer as a backup but there was no room in here for that. I do all my banking, investments and writing on this machine. My concern is that Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 soon, and this computer cannot support Windows 11. I needed a back up that did not take up a lot of space. I read all the reviews on the Beelink MIN S12, and despite the concerns about the lack of support and other issues encountered by some, most of the comments were positive and I ordered it. It arrived quickly and in good shape. Like most, I was impressed by the solid appearance. I had hoped to hang it on the back of a new24 24-inch Samsung Monitor. The included bracket for doing that came with screws that were too short to use on the top holes on the back of the monitor and barely grabbed on the bottom holes. In that position it would be very awkward to reach the “off” button let alone the USB ports. In any case, the supplied HDMI cable was too short (10 inches) to reach the port on the monitor. Despite suggestions to create a “local user” during first start-up with the internet disconnected, I figured most people were not doing that, and honestly, I don't know how to do it and didn't feel like researching it. I plugged in the new monitor, added a dongle for the new wireless keyboard and mouse, and connected wirelessly to my modem. Everything seemed to be copacetic. I jumped through the usual Microsoft hoops getting Windows going. I had no hassle with registration. It seems to be automatic. I downloaded my essential programs without difficulty and set up all my necessary site links. Everything works fine so far. Although the computer comes with 500GB of memory, in a bit of overkill I added a one terabit Crucial SSD. Since this is about the size of a business card, I was able to plug it into the back of the computer and let it dangle off the back out of sight. Since the small cable that came with the Crucial was C at both ends I used a small adapter to attach it. Given the awkwardness of attaching to the remaining two USB ports, I attached a 7-port USB hub to one of them. The only problem I have had has been trying to create a recovery drive, but this was a Windows issue. When I tried to do that, the process locked up with the progress bar showing about 10% done. I ended up with two 64 GB thumb drives with partitions on them that I can only reformat individually. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase. There was a minimum of pain and stress and I ended up with a tidy, small footprint setup.
