Disposable Flip Flops
Wore these only once at a KOA Park in San Antonio, TX for a short walk to the shower about twenty yards last month. On the way back it was raining so they went straight into storage once I arrived back at my spot. Today, I noticed what seemed to be a pebble stuck in the bottom of the flipper. You would think it would just make an indentation, but it actually punctured the sole. The imprint of "alpine SWISS" has already faded on the left flipper. They were both very comfortable wearing during the short walk and in the shower. At this point, I don't think there worth wearing in the public as they may come apart and now have become disposable flip flops. Chris

Poor experience with the quality
Bought these for my husband and they lasted two weeks. He has only wore these a moderate amount of time and one of the straps has already broken. He has an old pair of flips I was replacing due to fit and they are still going strong. I would not recommend this product to anyone due to the poor workmanship.

Great sandals for an excellent price…
I cannot understand anyone giving these less than five stars. For Pete’s sake it’s a $11 pair of flip flops. They look great, they feel great and are much more comfortable than other ‘name brands’ that I spent 4x theamount on.Perfect for around the house, in the back yard, good for hotels snd resorts when you just need something toput on your feet to satisfy the requirements of having to wear shoes.Footbed is soft and springy, the straps are soft and supple and do not cut into my feet, very comfortable.I paid $40 for a name brand pair that rhymes with Blechers and they were uncomfortable and one of the strapspulled out of the footbed rather quickly. If they last the summer I’ll be thrilled, if there are any issues I will update my review but for now I saybuy them without hesitation. The company Alpine Swiss is also involved with altruistic endeavors as well and I like that added bonus.Buy ‘em!

Cheap foam product
I found these to be very cheap looking and made. The foam shoe part had an odd line down the middle of one of the shoes. Looks to be done as part of the manufacturing process. Also, there was foam missing from part of the shoe that made have been sanded (for lack of a better term) to mask the issue.

Blue - Basic Flip Flops
I took a chance with the older mixed reviews on these basic blue flip flops and I'm happy with my choice. I had a 10 amazon egift code and my shipment included free shipping without being a Prime member. I'm 6 foot - 300 lbs and wear a size 12 USA. If you need something to walk down too the pool, shower shoes, or go pickup your mail these will work fine. For a minute, in a pinch. Know that they are discount store quality. If you want a flip flop for everyday lasting for months these arnt them. Try looking under sports sandel at about $25. Still a good choice for the points given or as a backup pair.

Cheap, comfortable sandals that lack durability.
Very comfy foam sandal that feels more like a slipper. In a short time the footbed compresses and retains your foot imprint which helps with arch support. This mountain logo model has cloth thong straps which I found very comfortable also. Note-the Edge models have rubber straps. From the product photos the Edge also appear to have a lower profile strap. I’ve found rubber straps to be less comfortable. The sole is not durable at all, and as others have noted I’ve gotten stones embedded in the sole while walking on pavement. Also as can be seen in my photo, chunks of the sole have fallen out but the sandals are still wearable. Because of the lack of durability, I now only wear the Alpine Swiss around my Phoenix, AZ house, yard, and pool. Elsewhere I wear my much more durable, and expensive, Reef Fanning sandals. For the low price and comfort, I just ordered another pair that will not leave my property. I’ve had my first pair for 7 months and wear them daily.

GREAT BUY, but you get what you pay for...
This what you would expect for a cheap pair of sandals. They actually look very nice! and fit well. The only reason I am giving this product 3 stars is because there is not a thick bottom. The whole base of the sandal is just like the foam you are stepping on. Therefor, sticks and rocks go right through them. These would be a great buy for sandy beaches, but I would not recommend them for anything else. Chucks of material get pulled off with any sort of rugged terrain (not sand). I do not anticipate these lasting very long. GREAT BUY if you just need a quick pair for a vacation on a beach somewhere. Otherwise you would be better spending a little extra and getting a pair that has a thicker bottom that will last longer.

Very high quality.
I had an ankle injury and could not wear shoes for months. I have worn these everyday since I bought them, all day all night. I live a very active life and kept waiting for them to fall apart but they have held their form. My ankle is healed now but I still wear them all the time. I just got back from a camping trip in 104 degree weather, for 5 days they were the only thing I wore, walking through streams, boulder hopping and gravel roads while wearing a 50 pound backpack and they still look and feel the same when I bought them. I have worn flip-flops and for years I've looked for flip-flops with the least toxic materials so that is a real plus with these. By walking in these flip-flops I've been able to change my posture and my heavy supination which originally caused my ankle injury. My only complaint is that the soles don't clean well but that's nothing (diluted bleach does the trick if you soak them for a few minutes). I just hope they were not made by slave labor in some poor third world country.
