Sturdy durable quality

I love it. I have the iPad mini 2 (which has that small hole in the top on the back. Which is why that hole is on the case) so that hole that another person stated was useless. Is not on certain models. This case fits well. Snapped together like you want to hear when putting on a case for an expensive electronic item. And looks pretty. It also happens to match my phone case but I didn’t know until I got them. They are both the exact same. Which is a major plus for me. No it does not have a screen protector. But I know that when I bough it. And I didn’t care since all my electronics have tempered glass screen protectors on them. The small downside for some is the hold for the silent butting. My fingers fit fine so it’s not a hassle for me. But for some it might be. Also the headphone jack hole is quite deep so a few sets of my headphones won’t plug in anymore but that’s not a big deal for me because I have an outrageous amount of headphones (I keep misplacing them and buy more, than find them when the new ones arrive). Overall a good buy. Just be sure you read the descriptions carefully to ensure proper fit for your iPad and that it’s the type of case for you. This is a lightweight case made for light falls such as off your bed or out the car door. Or while walking around the house or something. Not for down the stairs or any falls with serious momentum behind it. (I have a theee year old so those falls happen for me. But he’s not allowed to walk with my devices anymore. If he isn’t sitting he does t use it) anyway. Good case. Just read the fine print first. Don’t just buy because you like the look. And if you do. Don’t complain it’s not what you wanted.

I really liked it. I am giving my old iPad to my granddaughter. I needed a new cover for it and think she will like it. The only con about it is that you have to buy a separate screen protector. It seems like it is pretty good quality. My not be as good as others, but hopefully it will be fine. I haven’t given it to my granddaughter yet .🤞🏻

I almost missed this case because I usually sort by ratings. Most of the unhappy reviewers simply bought a case ill-suited to their preferences.If you want protection from drops, you need either a heavy case or several, lighter absorbing layers. Some of the heavier cases offer superior protection ... but they are A LOT heavier. Many reviewers don't like the squishy rubber layer on this case. Sadly, I drop my iPad mini often and have found the rubber layer essential to shock absorption. If you don't like the layer, either get a much heavier case or plan to take better care of your iPad. If you plan to take better care of your iPad and want a case for aesthetic reasons, then most of the cases sold are fine.If you want to protect your faceplate from cracks and scratches, get a $7 tempered glass cover. They work wonderfully. Many reviewers don't like the cover. In general, don't plan to on an iPad cover that comes with case (they're usually either too flimsy or too thick).The cover flaps on many cases are particularly useless. Some of you may remember the "keyboard dust covers" for the early laptops. The cover flaps on many cases are about as useless and get in the way when reading.If you want strong bounce protection without much extra weight, and you are prepared to get a tempered glass cover to protect it from scratches and cracks, then this case is ideal.

I put my iPads through hell, I drop them, take them to the beach and this case is perfection, I love it so much that purchased one for my bigger iPad. It was exactly what I was after and I love how it just all clicks together.

This is a great case! I also purchased a screen protector at the same time. The screen protector finally cracked thankfully the Ipad mini is fine, and I had to purchased new screen protector. I use the Ipad everyday and does get heavy use. More than satisfied with this case! I was going to replace the case and if I do it will be the same one others I have gotten I sent back just not as good.

I was looking for a case for my little one as we finally got her an iPad so was looking for something that can withstand a 6 yr old but not be a big foam thing so decided to get this one. This case is very pretty an the reviews is what really sold me to get it. Overall delivery was perfect I have Prime so standard 2 days so can't complain. When I took it out of the package the plastic "case" is very flimsy I was afraid of breaking the prongs that locks the case put but for the price the case is ok. The biggest test was when my daughter dropped it from her bed to the tile floor and survived so for now ill give it 4 stars and will update if something happens in these 30 days. :)

UPDATE: the control button for volume keep getting stuck due to the poor fit in that area. The plastic is so soft, I shaved it with the edge of my scissors to adjust the contact in that area and it works better, but still gets locked at times. Can’t shave more without losing a vital piece for clamping the case together.I thought it looked similar in quality to my Otterbox, but it’s thin molded plastic and silicone have me concerned how well it will be protected. The fit lined up well to ports and control buttons. It does not have much of a solid snap feel, due to narrow fitted edges; again concerning for durability and protection.
