Perfect for the job

I bought this JOREST Watch Link Removal Tool Kit (Upgrade style) to resize a couple of new metal watch bracelets at home. It paid for itself on the first use, but you definitely need a patient hand when using it. The Good: • Incredibly Complete Kit: You get a ton of value here. It comes packed with extra replacement pins (10 pins), a good variety of 10 spring bars, a dual-headed hammer, and a holder block. You won't need to buy any extras. • Effective Results: Once I figured out the alignment, the twist-style pin remover pushed the links out cleanly without scratching my watch finish. • Nice Extras: Having the user manual included was great for walking me through the direction the pins need to be pushed out. Room for Improvement: • Pins can bend if rushed: The thin push-pins on the main twist tool are a bit fragile. If you don't line up the watch link perfectly before twisting the handle, the pin will bend instantly. Luckily they give you plenty of spares, but you have to be very careful and go slowly. Overall, it is a great DIY kit that works perfectly if you don't rush the process. Much cheaper than going to a repair shop!

Bought a plastic one from the same manufacturer which broke on first use. This one is made of metal, much much better. Easy to use. Removed 3 links from watch bracelet easily. Excellent.

Arrived today and I have now adjusted two Omega Seamaster bracelets, the tools are decent quality and worked perfectly, all adjustments carried out with no scratches to the bracelets. I took time with alignment and managed to remove and add links without bending the tool pin. Purchase has already paid for itself with not paying a jeweller to do the adjustments. Recommended 👍

I had a watch that needed a few links out, went to the local jewellers and they said they couldn't do it (part of me thinks it was because it wasn't bought from them but maybe I'm just being cynical). Told me to go to where it was purchased from as they'd know but as it was a gift and a local premises is a good 2 hour drive I decided to try it myself with this kit . Within 20 mins after watching a few YouTube videos I had the links out and watched fitted lovely. Saved however much the jeweller would charge. After seeing how straight forward it was I found it a bit hard to believe that my local place said it was difficult to do and that they couldn't do it . Either way for the price you can't go wrong for this piece of kit, definitely recommend. Comes with a lot of spare pins of various sizes and a soft hammer to push the pins back into place.

Good kit. Lots of options. The biggest downside for me was trying to loosen the turn screws. This would cause the ends of the tools to unscrew from the handle rather than the screw.
