Bought this to use with my MKH416 shotgun microphone. It fits well and have noticed it does a better job of reducing any noise transferred through the mic arm than the standard mic clip. It also came with extra replacement bands, which is always appreciated.

Holds my pole mounted Rode Shotgun mic very sturdy. It gets moved around and holds well.

I wouldnt recommend it for handheld use but works great on a tripod!

This is a great shock mount adapter for medium to long shotgun microphones. The build quality is a bit above average in this price range. The rubber bands that come preinstalled are a tad weak. Installing a few extra rubber bands that are included (like 8 extra were in my box) made the mic alot more stable. No biggie there. Keep in mind with longer shotgun mics that the tightening knob will have to be cranked down harder in order to keep the setup from tilting.As for the included gold adapter....it is NOT a 1/4" x 20 inner thread. I took this adapter upon receiving the package to Home Depot. It is a 3/8" x 16 thread. I had them check and they confirmed that this adapter (gold one) is 3/8" x 16 thread and NOT 1/4" x 20 thread by testing out alot of bolts to ensure which is correct. I ended up purchasing a 3/8" x 16 threaded rod (no bolt head) from Home Depot to mount this temporarily until an adapter comes in.This discrepancy of the adapter did not make me want to deduct a star so I will leave this at 5 stars (with the sizing caveat for any future buyers).See photos for references.

I use this with my Sennheiser MKH416-P48U3 Super-Cardioid Shotgun Condenser Microphone. It fits perfect and looks great. I set it up with the larger diameter in the rear and I added 2 extra rubber bands that come with the holder. It does the job perfectly. I have a Manfrotto Mini Compact Stand and everything fits as it should and the focus is on me when sitting at my set-up. No issues and would suggest it for its functionality and looks.

Could write a whole bunch here but bottom line is they work well they securely mount to the post and they hold the microphone quite well.I installed mine up in the ceiling for a crowd mics.

Five stars for my needs: a shock mount to dampen desk noise coming through the Audio Technica 2005USB I use for videoconferencing. The 2005USB is a bit thicker than a typical dynamic mic and something of a tight fit, but it is quite secure and isolates well enough.

Perfetto per tenere ammortizzato un microfono da canto tipo SM58 o Akg D5 come nel mio caso. Indispensabile per registrare tenendo in mano il supporto.

È un ottimo supporto, ha anche i fori filettati per metterlo su una pistola!
