89419 Universal Lever Handle, Oil Rub Bronze

These handles work great and look very nice to replace hot and cold water fixtures in an older home.I updated my bathroom faucets and handles in my bathroom with bronze fixtures. The contractor didn't have to remove the wall to put a one piece fixture for the shower.I also ordered the Danco Universal Flange parts to complete the look.

I ordered these handles to retro-fit my existing valves after doing a bathroom remodel. These handles had a ton of fittings to retro -fit other valve brands. However I had an issue where I needed longer screws for it to work there were none long enough to hit the threads and tighten it all up. I'll use these some where in the future they are made nice.

They scuff easily (I dropped one on the tile floor when installing it, and it left a chrome colored scratch mark, but if you aren’t rubbing the metal against grout or cement, then they are otherwise hardy and beautiful.

I bought this to replace the broken handle for my bathtub. It's quality seems OK, not great though; but for the price I guess I shouldn'tbe surprised. My spindle for my faucet was too small for all the plastic pieces they provided, so I had to use the metal one with the set screws in it. However, the screws were too small and I had to buy some longer ones to get it to work. The handle didn't fit right on the metal spud that they provided when I was trying to use the set screws they provided, It was very loose. Luckily the longer screws I bought poked out just enough to get a tight fit the handle just right. All in all, I would day It's OK of your looking for a cheap and quick fix, but be prepared to do some extra legwork if what you have is not compatible with this handle.

I was not satisfied because the end piece did not tighten right causing lever to not hold on after awhile and came off . The outside appearance was nice but not worth it. I had to order three because parts kept arriving missing
