Not spicy, but tastes great
Everyone in my family enjoyed this. I've literally had this with every possible combination and it works. It's not spicy, but affordable for the taste. I loved the little crunchy beans in it. Gives a great texture

Fragrant chilli oil
Tastes good. Aroma is great, but the flavour differs with the same product available in UK.

Not spicy at all, also i don't find it tasty at all. The smell itself is not very soothing.I don't know what is the hype about

Suprised how well it pairs with indian and western dishes.
This magic concoction I had first tasted when in Hong Kong. Don't go by how it looks. It has a pleasant umami taste and isn't very spicy. It can be added to mundane and even exciting dishes to change the flavour and taste profile. Why you can use this to spice up that daal or if you are feeling extra adventurous put a healthy dollop on your Egg Benedict and be ready to be transported to flavor town. Adding this to Maggi or home made noodles is a no brainer. It makes surprisingly good chokha with hot oil to pour over Indian dishes. Last but not the least. Mix your fav honey and this beauty. Give it a nice stir and voila...you won't find better hot honey even if you paid for it. Buy this old granny chilly and enjoy the comfort of the smoky flavor on a rainy day or a cold one, and if adventurous during the sweltering summers. The smell is divine, that light earthy smell of something which has been delicately fermented.

I think this not for Indian pallet. Its pungent and not spicy at all ,strong soy flavour , overall not ordering again .we have other options

🔥
I gave it a try... it smells appetizing... tastes like chicken... and yes, it’s amazing with bread; I think it’s all down to that rich, "fried" texture 🤤. And the aftertaste is excellent... it’s not just sharp, burning heat... you can really taste the spicy aroma 🫶.

Crunchy crispy texture, umami sensation!
I am a chili fan, having originated from southeast asia. I have always been a fan of crispy chilis, and recently came across an article which claimed that Nigella Lawson really rated this brand. Well, who wouldn't take heed of what the goddess has to say about food? I am glad I listened to her. A jar full of crispy salty chili flakes and luscious oil. It is truly caked with crispy chili flakes - they come out in chunks on your spoon. The interesting thing about this is that it has a really nice, warm chili flavour but strangely not at all hot. Ok, I can take hot stuff but my husband and kids who aren't as used to hot food love this and can wolf down spoonfuls at a time.It is unlike another well known brand which is far hotter - however I would say that Lao Gan Ma's flavour is perhaps not as addictive as the other brand that also takes pride of place in my fridge. On the plus side, Lao Gan Ma's texture is more crunchy and crispy than other brands.Add this to Chinese or other Asian dishes to perk up and dial up the umami sensations in these cuisines but I would also recommend adding to Western casseroles and pasta dishes. My rather fussy 11 year old son adds this to his spaghetti bolognese regularly.

Güzel
Aroması gayet güzel. Sofrada kullanım için çok beğendim; makarna, et, tavuk ve benzeri gıdalarla kullanıyorum. Acılık derecesi bana göre orta, ama başkalarına biraz daha acı gelebilir. Tavsiye ederim.
