I bought this for my son for his pack lunches, IV done two trials one pasta and one chicken nuggets, it is handy and does keep food warm, but only warm, after 3hours, but I'm not sure if this is the design, I still haven't managed to trail for the full 5 hours yet, if it keeps it at that temp it would be perfect, I did put hot water in first as stated, but over all I am glad I have invested

Makes a great mug.
Nice shape, fits comfortably in the hand, spoon a nice extra. Keeps my coffee hot while walking dog.

Brilliant
Daughter has been using it for her packed lunch. She said the foods still hot and yummy at lunch time and she’s been eating the lot. Spoon attached means she doesn’t lose it.Item also Cleans easily.

Not so hot!
Have used this several times now and to be honest I’m a little disappointed. Pre warmed the flask with boiling water before adding piping hot soup. Soup was tepid by lunchtime. The insulation properties are not as good as my previous Thermos flasks.
