It's good...really good for the money, but you should know a few things before you buy this item. I've owned Bose docking stations and I've tested the Bose Soundlink as well, and the Vtin isn't even close in sound. But, the price difference is enormous so it's not a fair comparison. Here's what you need to know about the Vtin:POSITIVES:- It gets very loud for it's size. It will easily fill a large room with sound or a garage/shop.- It is extremely portable.- It's pretty tough, but the grills probably will dent easily if dropped.- The Bluetooth connects very easily and has great range.- The sound is good for the money.- The battery life is exceptional.- Has a convenient carabiner hanger so you can hang it on a hook in the garage or in the backyard.- It's splash proof so it's great for by the pool or while washing cars.- Has a headphone jack and works very well as a computer speaker as well.- Love the size (7" x 2.75" x 2"). Just big enough to be loud yet very easy to grab with one hand and carry.NEGATIVES:- Not great low end tones like the Bose SoundLink and distorts a bit at high volumes. Overall it's still really good, but be realistic about the quality of the sound at this price point.- The lowest volume setting with an iPhone connected is still pretty loud, so if you like super quiet background music at the desk, this may not work.In summary, for the price I'm not sure you can do much better than this. I'm really pleased with what I got for the money, but if you're super particular about sound quality then I'd recommend you pay the additional 100-150 bucks to get something a bit more high end.Hope that helps.

Very good sound. Awesome, on fact. Like all good speakers an EQ is very necessary. An example of a speaker that is better without EQ is the Amazon Tap.The USB port is AT LEAST tougher than ANY USB port on a phone or tablet. Some reviewers I read stated that Vtin Contacted them, replaced their unit, and they still left their review at "2 Stars" because of the micro-USB port. I have played my unit into the ground. I do not try to let it get wet but I live homeless and often play like 20 hours of music and then play lectures all night long and then charge the next day. One problem I have had with all bluetooth units is the annoying low battery chirping. Turning the speaker low and the tablet high makes it more tolerable but I have a habit of running the battery down low to get a good charge and it will literally play at least 12 hours while tweetleing like every 2 minutes. I really don't think it's very necessary to actually run this battery down though, and you can just plug it in after you think it might be getting somewhat low and any normal use is usually WELL below 70%¡ these drivers are awesome (I believe they are Philips) and VERY LOUD and clear.

Although I haven't tried submerging my speaker in water, I did start streaming music through it as soon as I took it out of the box. The video reviews spoke about this speaker having a good bass sound to accompany the treble sound. And it does. I use it for work, and I've used it for 10 hrs strait. I've even had it on, consistantly, with the volume on high. This is my first time purchasing a Bluetooth speaker, I have been impressed. A lot better in price, and sound quality then the pill. My opinion.

Just got one of these. The sound is pretty amazing for the price and the size.So far, I'm liking it.Gripes:The buttons are all black so I can't see them in low light. It would have been better if they had a little contrast on the buttons so that it's easier to identify function.There's a little distortion when it's at it's loudest.

I have had it a month. I love it. It's the loudest and bassiest one I've had. I absolutely loved it. But now it won't charge. Doesn't matter what cord, block, outlet. Anything. It just doesn't recognize that it's plugged in. So that's a problem because it will eventually die and I'll have a $40 paper weight. But while it's alive, I love it. Not sure if I got a faulty unit or what. Hopefully seller reads this and sends me a new one.

So far this is a fantastic product for the price and specifications it has! 20 watts of outstanding power and long battery life with outstanding overall sound and less that 40$, too, it really cranks up loud and clear. I highly recommend and I am on the verge of buying another one!

This thing Rocks, battery last all day, sturdy, I take it to work and carry it on my cargo pocket , the sound is fantastic for its size! You can feel the bass when you hold it in your hand!
