Q: I bought a pack of 2 struts and 1 package of 10MM Ball Stud Bracket for Gas Spring/Prop/Strut ...should I have bout 2 packages of brackets?

Each strut will require 2 ball brackets for each applications. So if the mounting ball brackets only come in pairs of 2 then you will need another set.

Q: I bought these for a lift up bed storage, will these work. When I got it is it in a close position? Thanks

I got the lift cyclinders, using only 1 on my tilt bed motorcycle trailer. It is able to hold trailer tilted with 900 lbs motorcycle on it. Actually takes a little bit of push down force to tilt the trailer back to level position. I think it would be more than enough to handle a bed if you're talking RV type might even be a little too much. They arrive in the closed position hope that this helps you out.

Q: is there a specific ball stud bracket for the 100lb strut? meaning will they handle the hundred pounds of force?

gas brackets are the same as when you take the old ones off. I you mean the brackets on the car on
