Completely DISAPPOINTED
It's NOT electric. You have to add the milk already HEATED Which defeats the whole idea of a hot chocolate bar. I am so disappointed.

Great for hot chocolate or hot milk for tea or coffee
This is a great little appliance. It heats up milk for my hot tea and it makes a large quantity of hot chocolate milk (well large for one person). It’s also much easier to clean than heating milk in a saucepan (which I’ve done for 50 years), even a “non-stick” saucepan. We all know. Milk sticks to non-stick saucepans. With this I use a little dish soap and a few swirls of my largest bottle brush, and it’s sparkly clean! Win win!

Cold Milk Foamer a disappointment
I purchased the Clever Chef Milk Frother, Maximum Flavor Hot and Cold Milk Frother Warmer, 2 Cup Capacity, Black to make cold foam for my cold brew coffee. Because it’s supposed to be specifically for cold milk foam, and because it’s smaller than a traditional French press (so I could avoid wasting milk or having extra to keep refrigerated), I was hopeful that this would be a good solution. Unfortunately, although it does produce foam, it’s not very stiff foam, so it quickly reverts back to liquid.I’m not an engineer, so I can’t say for sure why it doesn’t work as well as a french press, but I think it’s because the foaming disc isn’t a large enough diameter to fit snugly against the inside walls of the carafe. So when you pump the press, milk escapes through the gap between the disc and the walls of the carafe instead of being pushed through the foaming disc. This results in some milk being foamed and some milk remaining liquid, compromising the structural integrity of the foam.Tl;dr: cold milk foamer designed poorly, resulting in lackluster cold foam. Don’t recommend.

Made in Taiwan. Not recommended. . . and here's why. . . .
Not recommended. . . and here's why. . . .It makes the hot chocolate frothy BUT...1. I washed it by hand for the first time and noticed the glass "pitcher" moves around in the black plastic base and handle. The only reason the glass part does not fall out is because it is secured by the top handle with a screw.2. I dried it and noticed water is stuck between the pitcher and the black base. That will allow mold to develop. You will need to take the screw off to clean the base.3. The directions said to gently warm the milk in the saucepan before pouring it into the chocolate maker. "Gently warm" meaning...how hot? I didn't want to get the milk too hot and possibly cause the glass to shatter or melt the plastic blades that are used to pump and mix the chocolate mix and milk together.4. After pouring them into 4 mugs and drinking, it was not as hot as a hot chocolate when microwaved the old fashioned way for 1 minute 30 seconds.
