General AltiMAX RT43 Radial Tire - 205/70R16 97T

Good tires for the money. on my second round. 1st lasted 40k + miles :)

Sooner or later you’ll own General. Great tire. Smooth but mostly quiet ride. Simple but still good looking tire if that matters to you.

I bought because I drive about 40,000 miles a year and I go through tires. I bought tires from a local store and paid twice as much . I just do not know how long they are going to last .

I researched these tires, and they were one of the best priced, best performing tires for my wife's Jeep Patriot. She loves them an already notices a differences - quieter driving, and she feels a difference when she's stopping or driving in the rain. Price wise they are the best- Tire Rack has about the same price, but with Prime, I saved about $60 in shipping, so it was well worth it!

I recieved these General tires in 2 days! I am very pleased. I was not able to find this size tire locally. We have two rutts in our highways due to winter studs. Fat lowprofile tires don’t handle them well so I wanted this size tire for year round driving. They are well treaded, handle well, and are a bit quieter. I don’t use studded tires as the Patriots traction control system works well enough for my travels. Yes, I recommed them.

Quieter than original tires, handles well in rain.

Tires are soft but very good. Road noise is not an issue, mounted these and drive very good, have a good road feel, in a dry dusty road condition with occasional rain showers it performed good.

I have purchased these tires several times. I tracked the mileage on the last set I bought and they only lasted 20,000 miles. I have seen other reviews that said the same thing. I guess I will not be buying these anymore. They price has gone way up since I started buying these. Now at almost $130 per tire they are way over priced for what you get.
