HoneyGuaridan W18 Automatic Pet Water Drinking Fountain, Water Dispenser for Dogs and Cats, 2L (70 oz)

I purchased this product or at least what looks like this product a few years ago. The one I purchased from Honey Guardian has so many more features. My machine had 3 water settings, 1 auto-senses when the cat was near, 2 on all the time and 3 a timed run. The lip around the drinking bowl also lit up with either blue to signal that there was water and red when it was out of water. I am not sure who makes this incredibly marginal product but I find it highly impractical because the motor is running all the time non-stop even when there is no water. Plus you have no way of knowing when the water runs out and the motor even runs when there is no water! There is also no on/off switch! The only way to turn it on or off is to plug or unplug it. This is a serious downgrade from what I had even though it appears to be exactly the same. Do not let looks fool you, this is a serious piece of garbage!

**Update: Downgrading to one star (from two). New filters aren't even available for purchase.This latest/cheaper model works about the same, but the parts are different and it was not clear how or where the cord went. In the other model, the plus was outside and the pump was built into the unit. This one, the pump is completely separate, which is fine but it took me forever to figure out where to put the cord and the instructions had everything except that part. This unit was only $10 (less than half what I paid on previous models). I am also not keen on these newer plastic filters. It doesn't do as good a job as the coal ones before (not to mention, less earth-friendly).

I’ve had 3 fountains from this company (or purporting to be from them), and this is the worst quality I’ve seen. Not only is it considerably smaller than older models, it has no features like motion sensing etc. Directions were for another model, making it confusing to put together. On top of that, the pump doesn’t work - it’s not forceful enough to push water up through the spout. Sending back, very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought the product to keep my pets drinking clean water continuously without all the cleaning and water changing. This product is great, is big enough for more than one pet and it comes with easy to follow instructions.

No real assembly instructions, seems to work OK. Quiet, moving water but not a fountain. Unfortuantely I put it next to the cat food and the cat completely ignored it for several weeks so I sent it back.

Fast delivery and it works perfectly. The instructions are not the most helpful, but after careful examination the fountain is relatively easy to put together. It is quiet, lightweight, fits in the corner pretty well. It does need to be plugged in, so that will affect where you can put it. My cat has been with me most of her life so far, and has refused to drink water for most of that time. This product has changed that.

I loved the one from two years ago. When it failed, I ordered another. The pump on this one is completely different and it is too weak to push the water onto the upper platform where the pet drinks.

This was purchased because I’m often away working for several days. I should have bought one 20 years ago! It’s a time-saver, avoids inevitable spills from a water dish, doesn’t take up a lot of space, is quiet, and my cat loves it!!

My two rabbits love this product. It keeps their water fresh. Much easier for me as well as I need to replace the water less frequently than a bowl!

Cada cosa nueva que llega a casa, tarda un poco en acercarse, pero la verdad es que con esta fuente a los cinco minutos estaba ya bebiendo.Es muy pero que muy silenciosa. Es la tercera fuente que tenemos y, comparadas con otras que cuando le va quedando menos agua ya suenan, esta sigue siendo muy pero que muy silenciosa. En el vídeo se puede escuchar su sonido.Tiene buena capacidad y si se apaga queda algo de agua que mi gata puede aprovechar.La verdad es que creo que es una grandísima compra. Sin duda, un acierto total.

Me ha gustado la elección de esta fuente porque es muy silenciosa y, sobre todo, tiene la funcionalidad que yo quería: dura muchísimo el agua sin necesidad de rellenarla. Esto se debe a que el motor está abajo del todo, y tiene que vaciarse toda la capacidad de la fuente para que el motor se quede sin agua y se pueda estropear. En otras fuentes, donde el motor está en un lado y gotean sobre un depósito frontal, cuando el depósito frontal se queda sin agua, el motor puede estropearse y, en general, este depósito frontal (por donde bebe el gato) suele ser mucha menos capacidad que la total de la fuente.En este caso, la capacidad total de la fuente es lo que usa el motor. Por supuesto, esto tiene un riesgo: en caso de viaje y dejar al gato solo, hay que dejar otro recipiente extra de emergencia, dado que si se va la luz de casa, la fuente no tiene almacén de agua a la vista y el gato no tendría agua. Sólo queda una parte minúscula de agua disponible.Mi gato no quería beber de ella al principio porque estaba acostumbrado a una fuente del estilo "DrinkWell", que tienen el área de bebida frontal, pero se ha acostumbrado al cabo de unos días y ahora no para de beber agua de ella.Los filtros son un poco caros ya que vienen con el plástico duro que, además, es muy poco ecológico. Deberían vender los filtros interiores y que pudiéramos abrir el plástico y cambiar sólo el filtro. Es la única queja, va muy en contra con el medio ambiente.Ojo, la fuente es básicamente un tupperware grande con una bomba de agua. ¡Pero es suficiente para que el sistema sea bueno!NOTA IMPORTANTE: cuidado al rellenar la fuente, hay que hacerlo despacio o podría salirse el agua por un agujero que tiene, que no viene tapado, por donde el cable de la bomba de agua sale al exterior. Debería venir una coma ahí o algo para taparlo y no viene con la fuente.

The media could not be loaded.  La verdad cuando me llegó el producto no me gustó nada estéticamente. Me daba la impresión de que era un taper grande... pero rectificar es de sabios y he de decir que estoy ENCANTADA. Tengo otras 2 repartidas por la casa, una incluso en mi dormitorio, y me fastidiaba mucho el ruido del motorcillo. Cuando vi el precio de esta no podía creerme que fuera tan silenciosa como decían pero es totalmente verdad. Es cierto que en el cuarto en silencio total se escucha un suave murmullo, pero es totalmente tolerable. Yo tengo 4 gatos enorme (el del video pesaba cuando se hizo el video 6.5kg cuando se hizo) y además hago trabajo de acogida de gatos y he de decir que la cantidad de agua me parece muy correcta para cuando tienes varios (yo lo llevo una vez al día, por ejemplo) para asegurarte que todos beben bien.Lo que al principio me pareció mal con el diseño ahora me parece genial, porque así puedo comprobar de un simple vistazo como va el nivel del agua. También he de decir a su favor que una de mis bestias tiró al suelo la fuente el primer día, y el motor aguantó como un campeón sin ningún tipo de problemas el golpe con el suelo.Totalmente recomedable.
