LA Fresh Natural Outdoor Shield Wipes, Peppermint Scent, 50 Count

I bought these wipes initially as a just in case for a creekside (wet) sunset (hot) May (swampy) Texas outdoor wedding. Hey, its what the kids wanted. And it was splendid. In part, because these wipes were handy. They had a different packaging, with floral Stop Bugging Me signage that has evolved to this no nonsense theme, and perhaps a less vanilla scent to the peppermint dominant flavour. But either way, we've made repurchases so there's plenty on hand for daily dog walks without a telltale chemtrail cloud necessitating a shower if you want anyone approaching you and NOOOOO nibblers. This is a keeper, y'all.

Used while traveling to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Did not take malaria meds so was vee cautious about putting this one regularly. I was on the water twice (Vietnam and Thailand) and a mix of indoors and outdoors. I was pretty much bite free (maybe one or two the whole trip). I personally liked the scent of this though I had travel companions that did not. It was greasy when it went on but overall wasnt bad after application. It is strong and would sting if you have open wounds. I liked the portability - easy to pack and bring along. I don't like the trash that comes with the portability. For mosquito repellant I would purchase again!

I love these repellent wipes. They really do help keep the mosquitoes away. The only thing is that they don’t last very long so you do need to wipe a couple times in the day. Also, if you don’t like the smell of peppermint, then these are not for you. I love the smell so it doesn’t bother me.

These wipes are fantastic! I purchased the bulk pack to put out for guests at my wedding and had a bunch left over. We quickly discovered how vital they were to enjoying our backyard living space the rest of the Summer. Pack a few in a pocket or purse or backpack, easily take them anywhere or any time and they work remarkably well against those pesky mosquitoes. The scent is soothing and lovely and they are totally worth every penny. They’re a little oily coming out of the package so it takes some practice figuring out the best method to apply evenly and efficiently without all the oils just getting all over your hands first. I tend to leave them in a folded square right out of the package to apply to the tops of my feet and ankles first. If you open the wipe completely up and try to use it like a baby wipe, they sometimes roll up or tear and it makes it harder to evenly spread the oil on your exposed skin. Overall great purchase, will be stocking up every season.

I discovered these at a children's activity center while on a hike in a VERY buggy wooded area. When we started the hike, my husband and I expected to have to go home due to the extreme bugs that were out. However, we decided to give these a try as they were the only thing available for purchase. We used two wipes for me, him, and our one year old. As we do not like to apply anything to our child, we just covered her clothes and the baby carrier that I was wearing her in. We covered our clothes, arms, etc. as best as possible with the two wipes. The wipes seemed dry at first, like there was no moisture whatsoever in them. We didn't think they would work AT ALL. We started our hike, and to our huge surprise, NO BUG BITES. Bugs still swarmed around us heavily, but landed and promptly flew away or didn't land at all. It was incredible. My husband and I found the smell to be a bit overwhelming, but very pleasant. We actually joked that it made us hungry. We hiked for about an hour in the extremely buggy woods, and neither of us nor my child got any additional bug bites. We were blown away, and we promptly looked them up on amazon and ordered. We are so pleased with these. They will be our preferred bug spray choice for the remainder of our parenting days. Our child is now two and we apply directly to her skin, but we now have a three month old. When applied to clothes, it seems to work just fine. The wipes received from amazon also appear dry, but it doesn't seem to matter. Just continue to wipe even when no moisture is being transferred, sit back, and enjoy a bug-free outing. Incredible product. I cannot recommend enough.

Works okay, not perfectly. Wipes are not overly saturated but product itself is slightly greasy.

I bought these right before a trip to Boston as the news was warning of EEE. I don’t like using deet (poison) so was hoping these would work. I love mint and I thought these smelled fantastic! I did not get any mosquito bites, even walking around parks and to/from dinners. I had to use 2-3 packets to cover my body. As others mentioned, they were kind of oily, but I let it dry and had no issue with it affecting my clothes. My husband kept telling how great I smelled too. Great purchase.

My daughter is allergic to mosquito bites, a friend referred us to these, we used them all over . However within an hour she had 10+ painful mosquito bites. I would never recommend or use again.
