only for straight jalapenos
if you use this on a curved jalapeno, you wont be able to get everything out, and may push thru the skin.

Quality is great! Works very well. Handle feels really nice and soft. I have been wanting one of these for years. I'm that kind of person who would think about getting one and just say to myself, "just use a knife, it's free, something I already have, don't waste your money on another gadget". Luckily I have a late night shopping problem and I finally just decided I'm ordering it!I am so annoyed that I waited so long Iong to get one! It works amazingly well and simple. I love it. It cleans the jalapenos out in one swipe and it's much easier than a knife! Get you one!!

Not good for jalapenos
The circumference in the item is too large. It will not remove the internals of the pepper before it removes the tip of the pepper. It is useless.

Bought as a gift. Seemed like a good idea. Doesn’t work very well, we used to make jalapeño poppers. Have to have the perfect size/shape pepper to work! Not the sturdiest tool, but it just sits in my drawer now.
