They work.
I purchased five 10 packs (50 dummy rounds) of the plain, non-colored rounds in order to stimulate the weight of a loaded handgun and spare magazine for when I practice my dry fire, reloading drills, and malfunction clearing. I train with a Canik TP9SF (9mm). I have been using these dummy rounds for a couple months now, and here's what I can tell you: Likes: -Good price compared to other dummy rounds (approx. $1.30/round). -Smooth stainless steel makes loading a magazine easy. -Solid construction so you don't have to worry about damage to the round when practicing malfunction clearing. -Nice, large rubber striking pad. -Awesome screw-top tin case. Dislikes (more like nitpicks): -Rounds are SLIGHTLY lighter in weight compared to live cartridges. -Rounds are APPARENTLY a little smaller than your standard 9mm. (I say this only because, even though I can't PHYSICALLY see or feel a difference, I'm actually able to fit 19 dummy rounds in my 18-round magazine. I cannot make any sense of it; I've tried putting 19 live cartridges in my mag, but they don't fit.) -You MAY have ejection problems when SLOWLY racking the slide (full speed racking has never been an issue).

Good quality
Good quality they fit perfectly in my p320 mag and no issues cycling them through. Nice for dry firing with the padded ends. Used them multiple times and no issues with my handgun after using them. Seem to be of good quality, paint on tip comes off over time from use but to be expected would buy again

Buy the colored ones!
These things have remarkably the same weight as the actual ammo. It functions very well and has a great and serving itโs purpose. However the one thing that I see that is a problem is the ones that I ordered were stainless steel in the silver color. Unless I really pay attention it is really easy to get these confused with real ammo. I would highly recommend anybody purchasing these to buy the version that has colored heads to make it easy to identify these dummy rounds versus live rounds. If I had ordered the colored version I would be OK leaving them loaded in a spare magazine. But if I did that I could end up getting confused and the last thing I want to do is accidentally load live rounds when I think Iโm loading dummy rounds. I donโt have to tell you the inherent danger iโve somehow making a mistake thinking you had one type versus the other. What I have to do to make sure that I donโt make any mistakes, I keep the dummy rounds in a plastic bag until Iโm ready to use them and then make sure live ammo is nowhere in the room. While it is a good practice anyway double extra caution is needed with the silver colored dummy rounds.

Excellent Product! 9mm training rounds.
It might seem simple to produce these training rounds, but I've bought a lot of them that don't come close to the standard of the .40SW and 9mm trainers built by Steelworx. These are all metal, except for the primer area, which feels smooth like velvet (but isn't). Exactly the right size for cycling through, and they don't damage my weapons. They're also tough, smooth, and wear very well. I'll post this review for the 40SW and the 9mm because I bought both. As far as I can tell, these are the best on the market.

Get some training!
Good weight but the red finish is easy to chip off and scratch

High quality fair price
These are great! I've used them many times over the past year to test many different 9mms and magazines. They have a nice weight to them, as well. I would recommend,

good value if you want weighted dummy rounds
These seem to be a good value if you want WEIGHTED dummy rounds (I bought these just because they are heavy, and I want to practice dry-fire with a mag that is the correct weight for my USPSA division). These are the heaviest dummy rounds I have seen. However, as others have said, they are STILL NOT the weight of a real 9mm round, weighing only 60-80% of the weight of a live round (depending on what ammo you shoot). To practice for Production, I had to stuff approx 13 of these into a standard-cap mag to achieve the correct weight of a 10-round mag with 9 or 10 rounds. I haven't run them through the gun (racking them, etc.), because I didn't buy them for this, so I can't comment on ejection and chamber fit and stuff like that. But as weighted dummy rounds, this seems to be the best choice (you'll note that there aren't many options, and these may be cheaper than buying something like a DoubleAlpha weighted practice mag, which is actually TOO heavy for Production shooters).
