Like the quality and seems to be waterproof so far. On my 2022 Ram 2500 I had to cut some existing plastic tabs so the rail clamps would fit. Not a big deal. Instructions were fairly easy to follow and you tube has a ton of videos to watch before you start. I was disappointed that it did not come with the rack rails like in the picture but after reading closely it does not include them. Kind of false advertising if you ask me.

The RetraxONE was purchased for a 2021 Ram 2500 6'-4" bed.Some pre-assembly is required, but the instructions were pretty easy to follow. Me and my son had it fully installed and operational in about 45 minutes. The rails have adjustment screws for squaring up the unit.The unit worked great on the first try, so we were very happy.My only potential concern was the mounting brackets (see photo). There are 4 total and simply surface mount to the bed cover rail and the truck bed rail. The bolt tightens and sandwiches the two together, but it seems a little dicey to me with continuous vibration and wind loads. I'd feel better if it was "hooked" in or tethered for a little more safety.Overall though, a good quality product.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Product update 1 year and 1 month after initial install~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Where do I start....About 8 months after the original install this, the plastic slats began to crack. Were not talking about 1 or 2 slats but around 15 in total. They were cracking on the same slats on both sides of the rolling cover (Photo's attached). So I sent a complaint to customer service and after a few back and forth e-mails with customer service they shipped me a new rolling cover. This new cover had to be installed into the original rails and canister, it was not a whole new canister, because you know that would be too easy to just attach the original rails and be done. This process requires 3-4 people per the instructions, guess what I didn't have 3 extra people sitting around to help so I removed the clamps from the entire structure so I could put it in the grass. Then I could use the grass to help support the cover and slide in the canister. I had the structure just about on the ground when the canister and rail broke apart. This somehow snapped the ear off the rail and completely shattered the canister (Photo's attached). So now I have a brand new rolling cover that is completely useless to me.I have an email into customer service to see what they want to do but at this point I'm 1 year and 1 month after purchase.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This is my original review from about 6 months after the initial install~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The install is pretty straightforward as long as you watch a "how-to" online. So far its smooth as butter, I've had it installed for 6 months in at this point. This is the plastic slat model so with a little weight on top or pressing up from inside it will visibly bow but so far this has not affected its performance. Its fairly water tight, running it through a car wash I'll see a few lines of water from each side of the tailgate, none anywhere else. The lock anywhere feature is nice and has come in useful a few times already but it would be nice if their was a audible click or something telling you its locked in place. The only detractor at this point is sometimes the handle will jam while unlocking. It seems as if the tracks are not parallel but really this only seems to happen on cold days. As soon as it warms up I'll go out and measure the distances to ensure its parallel but it never seems to happen when the weather is nicer/warmer.

installed easy with 2 people. Black matte finish looks great. It does take a couple days to break in to roll much easier after the initial install. As far as water getting in: I ran it thru a carwash and a little water does get in at the rear tailgate on the corners, which i can see is unavoidable, and drains at the bottom of the tailgate.If you keep your cargo in 6" from the back, it will not get wet. Overall I'm happy with this product.

Easy install. But.....I think one of the bed rails are warped/bent. Cant get one side to fit flush like opposite side. Will try to adjust and then contact vendor.

This cover rocks! Per my experience so far and that of the friends who recommended it to me, I tend to think it may be the Gold Standard for pick-up bed covers. It fits my 2016 RAM Limited Crew with RAMBox perfectly. Not only that, except for some small wet spots at both tailgate corners, the entire bed stays perfectly dry even after having been parked or driven through very heavy rain storms. The price here on Amazon beat all others. Also, the RETRAX customer support line is terrific. Still waiting to receive the promotional $100.00 rebate and cargo organizer. Just be sure to watch the video and carefully read through the very well written installation instructions, then carefully follow them, and all will be fine. So far, I'm delighted!

The part of the canister where the shim was attached was torn off. It appears that it was either dropped or mishandled.
