I ordered these parts to replace the bits on my old compressor which i broke, all came well wrapped up on time and a good price and good condition.

This is a review of the Holdfiturn Compressor Pressure Regulator Switch. It comes in a plain cardboard box together with a 125PSI air compressor pressure valve control switch, a manifold with twin outlets, two pressure gauges, two brass fittings and a safety valve. I bought this purely on price as all I wanted was the manifold part to fit on my ‘Machine Mart’ brand Clarke compressor as this item seems to fit so many in their compressor range - and other makes and models I am given to understand. I would guess these type or design of manifolds come off the same production line but supplied under various trade names. I am keeping the regulator as a ‘spare’ in it's box, ready for when! The original manifold snapped off (I bought the compressor about six years ago but I hardly use it nowadays if I am to be honest) as the casting is quite thin or perhaps fragile might be a better description. This manifold fitted okay so I will now wait to see long this one lasts!

The manifold is made from extremely poor quality 'metal'Pay a bit more and save yourself the headache.I went cheap and I now need to buy again.

i bought the valve for my machine mart air master compressor ,it fits just fine , it was up and working in no time at all,after reading the comments i used liquid ptfe ,there are no air leaks. and for 12.75 i am very happy with it,i bought another one for a spare,regards andy

This kit was to repair my otherwise scrap 15 year old Wolf Air, Apache50 II. Before this purchase I viewed several similar, if not identical assemblies, ranging up to around £50 and none of them having particularly glowing reviews and the parts in all of their respective pictures looked exactly the same. With that in mind, together with the review contents and the absence of any better quality components being advertised, I decided to take the gamble with the cheapest of them all, the theory being that I wouldn’t be throwing too much money down the drain if it was no good. Out of all of the component parts the manifold is the weakest quality. It is a very poor casting of some kind of alloy and will not tolerate too much abuse. Having said that, the original, broken, manifold is little better. The kit was a perfect fit but my advice would be to check that all of the threads are clear before assembly and don’t try to overtighten anything. In addition, do not use jointing compound or tape, it won’t work and you could easily break the casting. Get a good quality thread locking fluid and leave it to set. My compressor is now up and running and holds pressure over days and the pressure regulator also works well. I have given it four stars purely due to the poor quality of the manifold casting. An excellent purchase for under £10.

Replaced this on my compressor it fitted fine works fine only thing is you dont get tge ready sealant on theead like some other brands and dont use ptfe it will leak

Used this to replace a failed regulator on a fairly new compressor, fitted as expected and both gauges work fine, used recommend thread locker to seal connections, only time will tell on longevity, but great so far

The overall structure of this component is near identical with the original on my WOLF compressor. The only significant difference being the two air outlet connectors. They are not of a type I recognise, but the two pieces salvaged from the failed original should be a perfect fit. And at the price, it is a complete bargain.
