Works well. The existing 1/4 hose didn't fit thru the ferrel without trimming the out side of the hose, and even then the ferrel didn't screw onto the adapter with the hose, but it still was a water tight fit for my garden irrigation, so it was a win.

Only needed one to adapt my soaker hose to a drip line for my fountain. I like that these are brass and really did work well for what I needed. 1/4" tube went on well and has held.

I needed to connect my misting system to a regular garden hose spigot and these worked fine for that. Brass feels solid, threads are clean, screwed on without any issues. I used two of the three adapters for my setup and kept one as a spare. The gaskets that came with mine were kind of inconsistent. One fitting sealed up perfectly hand-tight, the other one dripped a little until I wrapped some teflon tape on the threads. Not a huge deal since I always have tape around anyway, but worth mentioning. I've seen other people say the same thing in reviews so I guess it just depends on what you get. Getting the 1/4 tubing pushed onto the barbed end takes some muscle. I ended up dipping the tubing in hot water for a minute to soften it up, then it slid on easier. Once it's on there it's not going anywhere though.

The gaskets I got with mine did not seem to work well even with tape. I had some extra gaskets around and switched out with no leaks. Still a good product just get some plumbers tape and hope on the best on the included gaskets.

I live in an apartment and I wanted a non invasive way of hooking up my RO system. This item made that possible and was cheap and easy. I used this to hook up my RO system to my washer hookup. Run the waste water tube down the washer waste drain with a ziptie. Just ran a Y splitter on the main hookup. I do turn off the side my RO system is hooked up when the washer is running. Should be fine but I don't like risking things like that.

I used 2 of the 3 fittings to install a water supply to an outdoor water fountain. I needed one end to fit a standard hose bib and the other I used with an adapter to fit on a 1/2" float, so the water cuts off before the fountain reservoir overflows. The fittings came with gaskets and worked perfectly with the 1/4" garden irrigation tubing I had leftover. No leaks, hand-tightened. As the water comes from a rain barrel (gravity feed, down the hill) to the fountain, I used a simple filter in the hose bib end to make sure the water line doesn't get clogged. Standard sizes made the little project complete without a hitch.

We bought an ice machine and wanted to put it on our back porch. WE had to figure out how to get from our back porch hose hookup to the in-line filter going into our ice machine. This was perfect for that. The connection is very secure and very easy to attach. This would also work to convert down to the 1/4" irrigation lines for gardens.

Works Great , OK now the tubing fits very snug u really need to use some spit and push hard to get it through the connector hole and on to the nipple . The hardest part was screwing it together after all that.

As advertised, solid fit, good seal

dont think about it. these work great.

Fits hose well but leaks at 1/4 inch drip line connection, unless a sufficient amount of Teflon tape is applied before tightening the small nut.
