A ton of useful info in one place

I purchased this book to prepare for the ETCP exam, as it was the foremost recommended text for that purpose, and the author even specifies that exam by name. The information in the book is invaluable, and I feel like I am learning a lot. There are quizzes at the end of each chapter, and the answers are in the back of the book. This is a very helpful format for learning, and the layout is well designed. Unfortunately, there are quite a few wrong answers, and some of the questions lack information to arrive at the correct answer. one of the other reviewers mentioned "typos", and I think this is what they are referring to. Someone needs to go through this and correct the mistakes. As I am not an electrician, it begs the question, "what else is wrong in this book?" Am I learning the wrong answers?

Bought this book as part of a course for preparing for the ETCP certification exam (also co- created by same author)Each chapter has errors in it that escapes me how it passed any half experienced editor reviewing it. Especially in the end of chapter quizzes. It's a waste of time to have to seek out confirmation of something is correct or not as well as impeding on the learning process. My message to the author is, if you're going to publish a comprehensive book on any topic but especially electrical theory and it's applications please make sure that your descriptions, formulas, math and answers to quiz questions are CORRECT and ACCURATE. Furthermore if you're going to include quiz questions at the end of the chapter it would be advisable to include that questions topic in the related chapter!! This book needs a serious revising. I'm available to help with that if you want to hire me.Otherwise, tread with caution on how this material is presented. It's sad that someone recognized as an authority in his field and claims to be an educator produced such a product riddled with so many errors.
