Q: Can these live microbes be used in a dwc aeroponics system without causing algae growth due to the air stones?

Do not buy this product. We did extensive testing on it and there was no evidence that our phosphorus levels increased. That being said if you use it in your aeroponic system it won't grow algae on its own. However if you have high phosphorus and your reservoir is exposed to light , algae will grow. The best way to fight algae no matter what you are using is to not allow any light to get into your reservoir.

Q: I use growers recharge . is this basically the same thing and if their not could this be used together with growers recharge?

no that is not normal. I have smelt mine before using many times and it never smells really bad.
