FI LampsTV lamp for Sony KDF-55E2000 120 Watt RPTV Replacement, Black

My Sony TV displayed the "it's time to replace your lamp" message about a two months ago. I knew I had to order a new one and figured it would cost me an arm and a leg. After shopping around on Amazon I found this KDF-55E2000 for a great price. At first I thought it was too good to be true. I put it in my Cart and held off for a few weeks to buy it. Well...low and behold...my TV decided it was done displaying the message and just went to black. So I had no choice to hit purchase. Within a few days it arrived and I was actually quite surprised how easy it was to install. It's been a week since I've had the new bulb in and so far so good. The picture is bright and looks pretty good.Hope this review was helpful.

Unbelievable...I am soooo excited. This was easy to install (just have to go slow) and my screen is bright and beautiful again...I can't believe someone made something that simply has a part to replace to get it going again....I bought my TV in 2006....so, this is great.I'll let you know how long it lasts, but at this point, I'm going to buy a backup lamp in case it goes out again....I paid $1000 for this TV when I bought it so I'm really excited about extending its life....

Just bought this item 6 month ad ago. Great reviews so I bought from this company. I noticed after 3 months my screen is a little darker than normal, power shuts off every time I turn the tv on. Two days ago while watching tv, I heard a pop. After spending 20 minutes to figure out the problem, I checked the lamp and there it was, broken pieces inside it. 6 months!!!

Don’t really know if I should see a difference in the picture after changing the bulb. If so, I can’t tell that it’s any brighter. Could be that my TV is just too old.

I just received the lamp today and installed it into my Sony projection LCD tv. Install was easy through the side door and was a totally plug-n-play operation. I had to re-seat the lamp twice before the tv picture came back and all lights were green. Tv is working good as new and just as bright and clear as the original Sony lamp.All is well so far, so we shall see about it's longevity. Honestly though, I don't expect that this one will last 4+ years like my original did. It was only $35 (instead of $200 for an oem Sony part from their website).

Bulb lasted 3 weeks. Save your money and only buy a Philips bulb. This is the third bulb I've had in this tv. The factory one lasted 6+ years, another generic one lasted a year, and then this one.Seller did offer to refund or replace. The process is almost more trouble than it's worth. This review is targeted at the product, and not the seller.

Horrible as soon as we installed it something popped on the tv saying “Your lamp is going out” and the picture is green I would not suggest anyone buy from this seller . This is the third lamp I have order from them the other 2 weren’t even the right lamps . They have horrible service and products .

I dont know if it was my tv or if it was the lamp. Needless to say I just went and bought a new tv. BUT here goes, I bought this since my lamp went out but when I replaced it the tv had a big green line at the bottom of the tv and a big red line at the top of the tv. It also made a burning smell every time I would turn the tv on. A little scary to think my house may burn down.
