Situ Lighting: Cordless and Rechargeable LED Art and Picture Light - Rechargeable Micro Series - 3000K - USA Made

I wanted special lighting for special art and Situ's 8" mini met every requirement: LED, rechargable, easy to install and unobtrusive. I've had inexpensive brass plated battery operated lights that are difficult to mount and service and was looking for a final solution to the hassles that always result: installation, dead batteries and bulbs and the inevitable deteoriation of the finish. Situ eliminated all these problems. The lights are precision high quality construction, requires no screws are easily removed for charging. My first unit arrived with a defective charger and was immediately replaced. My second order was a last minute Christmas decision I didn't expect to receive in time but arrived 2 days after ordered and with 4 days to spare. The attached photos are identical lights on significantly different sized frames. The lights are slightly adjustable to accommodate a variety of sizes and shapes. I like precision and the heft of these lights exude quality. Not inexpensive but museum quality for special art.

I almost never write a review, but am so impressed by this little light for illuminating artwork, I just had to give my resounding recommendation! It is lightweight, unobtrusive, and sits easily just behind the frame without requiring any fasteners. The brightness can be selected by the simple touch of a button (3 levels), and the light itself can be adjusted to shine more inward or outward. The battery came with a bit of a charge, so we could see if it worked, and then we gave it a full charge, as instructed. It doesn’t have a remote but it does have a timer, so once turned on, it will automatically shut off in 5 hours.We have had plug-in artwork lights that are heavier and far from being unobtrusive, and these little marvels are far superior! I’m thankful my husband and I happened upon these, and grateful we were able to purchase 2, as our Christmas gifts to each other!

Ease to use it and I love it. It’s little expensive but it’s worth to purchase it if you want to display your art at home. I love it because it’s rechargeable and also you don’t need any wiring just hook it on top of the picture No drilling and No wiring

We have quite a bit of artwork on our walls and it is nearly impossible to appropriately illuminate every item without some kind of frame lighting. This is a great light source because it does that without the need for a perfectly located outlet or appearance of a power cord dangling beneath the artwork.Very well made and minimal visual impact from the device itself. The light color is spot on and really enhances the artwork.

I have never given such a glowing (no pun intended)review. The brightness and quality is awesome. I haven't tested the battery life yet but with the recharger it should not be a problem. Well worth the money. I bought two just to test them. Went back and bought several more.

This light is exactly what I needed. I installed it in 10 seconds and it illuminates my portrait in a way that grabs your attention and won’t let go. And the auto-shut off helps limit downtime recharges. I would definitely buy again!

I tried out these small cordless and rechargeable lights for two small to medium- sized oil paintings. They have been brought to life by the LED lighting. Installing the lights was effortless and allowed for instant enjoyment. I am looking forward to similar cordless lights for larger pieces of art in the future. Situ Lighting, are you listening? This light is a bit pricy, but if you want a very nice and quality light - feel comfortable with the purchase. The full picture view I have attached was taken at night with no other lights on in that area of the room. It is single light, no remote. We are very happy with it. The second view shows how nicely it sets behind the frame. You'll love this if you have a nice painting and want to light it professionally. It has three brightness settings that you can click through easily.
