haakaa Gen.3 Manual Breast Pump Upgraded Multifuctional Silicone Breast Pump for Breastfeeding Moms to Collect Breast Milk Reusable(5.4oz/160ml, Peach)

I used a Haaka for my first child for almost an entire year and loved it. So now that I'm pregnant with baby number two I wanted to make sure I got a really really good one. I'm an over producer, so I ordered this one, and it is LARGE and the suction is awesome. I love that the top part comes off and I can screw a bottle top on it to turn it into a bottle. Baby number two is also a girl so I love the fact that I could also customize it in that pretty pink color.

Love this Haakaa! The silicone quality is great and it holds a good amount. Sometimes you just have to make sure the silicone top sits in the ring flat in order to get a good seal. It provides good suction as well!

I was really excited to get this because my original Haaka gets full before I’m done feeding on the other side. However, when it arrived it smelled really strongly of some kind of chemical. I’ve washed and sanitized it three times and the smell won’t go away. I don’t feel comfortable using it since I don’t know what the chemical is or why it smells so strongly.

Not enough suction after you've removed the top part and cleaned. It was large and hard to maneuver. In the end I decided to keep it. I ended up just using the bottom part with the spoon attachment (a different purchase) to cup feed my daughter. If you want it for the manual pump look into the other versions this one is trash. Personally use the other two versions (gen 1 and 2) every day. Gen 2 is nice because it has a bottom so when I bump into the table I just sat my fresh milk on it doesn't go absolutely everywhere (real story sadly did spill a lot with version 1).

The first couple of days I loved this product, it has a strong suction and was able to help empty my breasts. But after that the suction gotten very weak. For the price, I think it should’ve lasted longer than a few days of strong suction; so I would personally just stick with the cheaper Haakaa’s! I do like that you’re able to attach a bottle top to it though, which makes it convenient!

Not only is this a great manual pump, but it’s super convenient for travel too. Collects milk on one side while nursing baby on the other, so I don’t have to worry about using the electric pump adter if baby doesn’t empty the breast. I do wish it came with a top though (sold separately), since once the milk is collected you have to transfer to a closed container for storage. If you leak at all or are looking for an efficient manual pump, buy this!!

I had the 1st gen 4oz Haakkaa and it worked well just not big enough. I would have to empty it mid feeding. With this one it had the 8oz bulb or cup and there is even more room then that. It is a little different material wise so learning how to get good suction took a few tries and you do have to re-squeeze the bulb a few times. It will not fill on one squeeze. If you find your haakkaa to not hold enough or the bottle feature is worth it to you then go for it. But if you like what you have and have no problems then learning the new one may not be worth it.

I love this product. I was pleasantly surprised on how much milk I’m able to save with this without tearing off my nipples, or making my nipples extremely sore. I really love these things and highly recommend.
