Q: I tried this for carpet and not only did my cat rip it off, but also it is sticky on both sides and not fun to walk on. Any recommendations for carpe?

The tape will not stop them from scratching the carpet, the anti scratch sprays do not work well, and scratching poles may or may not work. You might try a one sided tape like packing tape and see if it works. I use the double sided to keep them from scratching door facings and furniture corners, and from lying on shelves or cable boxes. I learned, like you, not to put it where I would touch or walk. I have many rescues inside, and it is hard to stop all the foolishness.

This didn't work AT ALL. I sprayed and sprayed and sprayed my furniture and they STILL use it like a scratching post. They sniffed it and scratched anyway. And I sprayed heavily. This product was a complete waste of money!

Yes but for my cat this has not Stop my cat at all one bit, she still scratching every single day and I replaced it several times.🤨

I usd it on Cindy Crawford “real leather everywhere the body touches but faux leather on the sides and back where I placed the tpape and it did not hurt the furniture NOR deter the cats.
