I have been using these lights for 3 months now and they work better than standard halogen bulbs.Install:The install was mostly easy. The bulb adapters did need to be modified with a Dremel to be installed in my 07 Subaru Impreza.Pros:-brighter than stock-clearer-all signs and reflectors are light up nicely.Cons:-No where nears as bright as LED/HID headlights from car makers. ie Honda, BMW, Audi, other Subaru's.-Subaru has daylight running lights using the headlights, This function causes these headlights to be on at full brightness no matter if the headlight switch is on or not.I'm not sure I would buy these again because I would want to find a set that were brighter.

I'm torn on this product. It took me over 3 hours to install these on my VW Passat (and I've put in plenty of other headlights). The plastic adapter is not only cheap plastic, but the fit is very poor. A definite 1 STAR for ease of installation! However....Now that they are finally installed, I am impressed with the performance. Clear, a little blue, makes a huge difference while driving! I'm also glad that the included leads took care of the compatibility issues for the DRL (daytime running lamps). No computer issues at all. Just plug and play.I'll also say that the company was friendly to work with, and mailed out a new adapter after one broke. I advised them that they should be metal, so they not only fit better, but so they hold up under pressure!

Product shipped great packaging was good. Received these lights on Sunday very excited with claims of brightness on these bulbs. I have installed these light a few different ways by changing what side the wire is pointing and trying to tune the position of the light in the housing. They have a big dark spot in the top middle of the throw. They are only as bright as the halogen bulbs and with the blueish white light they appear even less bright than the halogen. Very disappointed with the performance of these lights. Feel like was fooled by the great reviews.

Using these in a 2011 Subaru with projector headlamps. They aren't adequate for the job.First, the light pattern is largely unusable. You can see quite distinctly that there are two light sections and two dark sections corresponding to where the LEDs are placed. Too much light spread off to the side, not enough down the road.Second issue is the overall brightness. There is no possible way that these are 7200 lumens. The absolute highest halogen bulb you can get is just shy of 4000, standard bulbs are 3000. These claim to be almost twice as bright? Laughable.I bought these hoping it would save me from having to change my bulbs as often, as it's a giant pain in my car. Unfortunately I'll be removing these and going back to halogen.The only reason for giving 2 stars is that they seem to be put together well. They didn't feel cheaply made.

These are junk as far as I'm concerned. The bracket on the light that mounts to the headlight housing is not made of metal like other H7 light bulbs. It's made of some sort of composite material that breaks easily, trust me it happened to me. The website said that these would fit my 2013 Subaru projector lens. They will not the spring clip that holds the light in place cannot be brought across and secured because of the fan. There may or may not be adapters but there was no mention of needing or having to use adapters to place these light bulbs in my vehicle. I sent them back for a refund.

I bought a set for my 2014 spark and I loved them. I then bought two sets of H7’s for my wife’s 2017 Santa Fe Sport. The company told me these were the correct bulbs. After I got them and went to install them, the factory bulbs are 9005. I contacted customer support and they told me I was wrong and that I needed H7 bulbs but those clearly aren’t the ones I’m holding in my hand that came out of my vehicle. After telling the company I was returning them and would find a better suitable company all the responses with was “let us know if you need anything.” Very poor customer service.

Installation: If you have an 09 to 15 elantra this wont fit because of the cooling fan housing behind the bulb when you try to put the dust cover back on (i have the projectors/limited model) I had to remove the gray housing part which is held by 3 tiny screws behind both bulbs. To let it vent i just drilled 3 "exhaust" holes into the dust cover. That got rid of the whole "plug and play" simple installation part for me, but i managed to make it work. It seated into the headlight well, no adapters needed.Lighting: after installing i drove around my neighborhood, one of the streets have a blown street light so i put it to the test in pitch black driving, unfortunately lighting results were poor. Then i thought my headlight were too low, i readjusted and drove again, it got 15% better but that was it. I feel like the visibility from STOCK dropped by 30% to 40%. Although the color of my bulbs look amazing, this is the only praise i can give it.I didnt notice someone wearing dark clothing until about 3 to 4 car lengths ahead, which is NOT sufficient amount of warning IMO. This distance issue is reported by many reviewers. Highway drives to LA, i will replace with halogen then replace again when back in the city.I would return but i had damaged the packaging so i cant. If youre trying to improve visibility for your child, wife, self, stick with halogen or spend a bit more $ on an HID setup.
